Located 32 km from Iron Gate I, Serenity offers a private beach area, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. It also has a geographical feature that I find quite charming: the sun rises twice! (like at the Double Rise) Once at sunrise, when you begin to see, and then when it rises from behind the mountain opposite over the Danube. Given that the sun is higher up when it comes out proper, I've seen some of the most amazing "golden bridges" ever. All the rooms have balconies facing the river, and an other useful thing is that the parking lot is right out the door, so you can have your car as a quasi extension of your room, which is quite useful. The host is the best of the best. He treats every guest as a friend, and would go above and beyond for you to have the best experience possible. There are so many wonderful things to see and do in the surrounding area, and he is a treasure trove of information.

NOAH river house features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 20 km of Iron Gate I and 21 km of Rock Sculpture of Decebalus. Everything was perfect. This is a stunningly beautiful location, and the atmosphere is serene. We loved everything about our stay. The rooms are beautiful and look exactly as in the pictures. Modern, cozy, and clean. The outdoor space is amazing. The owners, Alex & his wife, are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. They made us feel as if we're visiting old friends. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back! Thank you.

Situated in Eşelniţa, 25 km from Iron Gate I, Donaris features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. We only stayed here for one night, but we were made to feel very welcome. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. It was very relaxing and we were allowed to stay a few more hours at the swimming pool after check out.
