Situated in Lindvallen ski area in Sälen and only 50 metres from the ski lifts, Hotel Bügelhof offers rooms with rustic decor. A restaurant and bar are available on site. Location was amazing! right at the bottom of the slopes, if there was more snow, i could see myself skiing into the entry! Some of the rooms have direct access to outside so ski out and in is easy. (Chalet style). Easy access to what lindvallen has to offer, even the Ski Through Mcdonalds (McSki) near the experiumtorget. Indoor activities such as bowling and arcade is a plus if you have kids or the conditions aren't great for skiing in lindvallen Aswell. Good access to all types of foods, Fastfood, like Mcdonalds or Pinchos or burger king and restaurants as well.

Set on Idre Fjäll in a ski-in ski-out location, this hotel features a free sauna, a summertime outdoor pool and massage treatments. Idre was the perfect location for an overnight stop on our way from the north of Sweden to the south of Norway. We enjoyed a short stay at this hotel nine years ago and were delighted to see how it has developed since then. The location with the view over the valley is excellent. This time we had a fantastic dinner in the hotel restaurant. Food and service were great. About 25 years ago I stayed in a hotel in Sierra Nevada, Granada, Spain, during test trips with SAAB, and in this hotel there were several pictures of Pernilla Wiberg and her skiing career. This hotel very much carries the same ambience in its interior design of social spaces, and I really wonder if that can be a coincidence?
