The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. The breakfast was fabulous that was served in the mornings. We also really enjoyed our time at the spa.

It is right beside the bus station. Not far from restaurants neither but the in-house cafe by the reception is amazing. Breakfast is good too. Room itself is standard. The front desk is very kind and helpful.
