Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. Hotel was in a great location and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were immaculate and well designed. Facilities looked great as well although wr never used them.

Boasting garden views, Hoomaikai Blessings features accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Lava Tree State Park. A hot tub is available for guests. Everything is perfect. Kelly is the kindest person that we have met! She really cares of everyone! If you want to be happy, come to her house! The breakfast is amazing and completely done herself. Amazing!

Located within 13 km of Lava Tree State Park and 17 km of Lava Tree State Monument, Wild Blue Water provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pahoa. Great room, bed and position. Great spot for a couple to relax and enjoy genuine peace, no passing traffic, no noticeable neighbours and no tv. Pool and outside spa were great and the viewing spot near the oceans edge was a delightful surprise.

Kehena Mauka Nui Club LGBTQIA+ Clothing Optional features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 400 metres of Kehena Black Sand Beach and 21 km of Lava Tree State Park. The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

Set in Koloa, 700 metres from Kiahuna Beach, Sheraton Kauai Resort Villas offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a restaurant. The one bedroom villa was gorgeous and so well equipped. We loved having laundry machines of our own. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent and the staff , without exception, was so helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the services of Tanya, the concierge, who arranged a lovely boat cruise for us. For two of our six days, we rented poolside bungalows. Although they were very expensive, we loved spending the day there!

Ocean View Paradise! has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Hawaiian Ocean View, 48 km from St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church. Troy is an exceptional host who has clearly thought of everything anyone could want when staying somewhere and provided all of that and more.

Featuring sea views, Kona Magic Honu Room provides accommodation with patio, around 200 metres from White Sands Beach Park. The host was amazing! We arrived around 7:30 pm and were leaving early morning to catch a flight. The host still accommodated our laundry request (which was much needed prior to our next island hop). She provided us nearby restaurant recommendation which was perfect for our last night in Kona. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean! We got to play with the host’s cat as well. Highly recommend!

Offering a garden and sea view, Orchid Tree B&B is situated in Hilo, 200 metres from Honoli'i Beach Park and 3.3 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. The bed was super comfortable and the backyard was very mellow to hang out in at the end of the day. We also loved the chirping frogs. Breakfast was bagels with cream cheese, granola and yogurt, coffee and fresh fruit.
