Located in Southold, in a historic building, 33 km from Splish Splash, Vine & Sand--Southold NY's Newest B&B is a bed and breakfast with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free bikes. The house is beautifully finished, the rooms are spacious and the rain forest shower was awesome. We used the bikes to cycle to the wineries and enjoyed relaxing outside at the firepit in the evening.

Located in Sayville, in a historic building, 43 km from Splish Splash, Come As You Are Inn LLC is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. Out of all the accommodations I booked during my travels in the United States, this has been the most exceptional one. From the moment the door opened, I felt at home and really, really welcome. The landlords are amazing people, who will go out of their way to make their guest feel comfortable. I actually spent hours chatting with them instead of exploring the area, because they were just so interesting and easy to talk to. In addition to amazing conversation, I even got treated to a piano recital in the evening. So while Sayville may not be the most thrilling place you could think of, I would consider coming back just to stay at the "Come as you are Inn" again. Also, I suspect, it may be difficult to find another B&B with a great cook and a great pianist under the same roof. Breakfast was lovely, the bedroom and bathroom were great, there was not a thing to complain about in that house. I got offered lifts, I was allowed to do some laundry (mine, not theirs :)) - things that aren't for granted and which I very much appreciated. The B&B is within walking distance to the train station, if you don't have a car. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Main Street with shops, cafés and restaurants. There's a big supermarket nearby. One could even walk to the ferry terminal to Fire Island within 20-40 minutes (depending on your pace). My stay at the "Come as you are Inn" has been an extraordinary experience and I'm very glad I stopped there.

This is a little gem of a place. I loved the laid back and quiet vibes with a tiny beach of your own. The view of the bay are stunning and the hotel is very sweet, tidy and relaxed. Just what I needed.

Rooms include free WiFi.... Love Location because it is a beautiful area with private beach and pool. We go paddleboarding and kayaking in the bay. It's 12 minutes from Southampton and Montauk only an hour away. Clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful staff too.
