Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The location is fabulous, looking over the gorge. The chalets are lovely, great bathroom facilities. Food is very good.

We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

The location was great for us. We chilled out the first afternoon on a private patio overlooking a delightful garden. Our favorite coffee/lunch shop was only a block or so away. It was also convenient for the activities we had planned for both days. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, modern and spacious hotel. The staff was very attentive, competent and friendly. The location next to the airport is great. Definitely one of the best options in Port Elizabeth. We really loved our stay. The apartment is so beautifully located between the mountains and is so spacious. It is next to the hosts house and garden, however there’s enough privacy. They invited us to see the South-African rugby game with them and heated the hottub for us. We even met their newest family member: a puppy!

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. We did the cave overnight and wow!! What an amazing experience! It surpassed all expectations. We did a walking safari with 10 rhino, heard the lion roar in the cave, had the best dinners ever, saw all kinds of animals on the game drives and really enjoyed our hot tub. This place was stunning!! A lovely time to unplug and enjoy nature.

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Maitland Nature Park, Thunzi Bush Lodge offers country style, self-catering accommodation with traditional décor and a balcony with forest views. The place was well kept and very nice views of the bush from the Charlet. We quite enjoyed the hiking trail which was a good distance to walk.
