Located in Touwsrivier in the Western Cape region, Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve offers accommodation with access to a hot tub. I’ve travelled all over the world and never had such a unique experience. It is a truly off-grid property without peer (that I know of). You are in middle of nowhere! Long dirt roads almost need 4x4 vehicle. No cell signal for kilometers! No internet! You have indescribable natural beauty totally isolated with your thoughts and companions. The cottage we had was professionally designed, newish, modern and comfortable. Every detail was thought out. The best feature was a wood burning hottub. Some fire building skills needed. There was solar power and plenty of hot water. Wonderful bathrooms. Curated kitchen. Bring everything you need food and supply wise. The only light pollution in the night sky was from the moon. The full Milky Way galaxy was on display. We had wild animals come directly near the cottage at night because we were quiet. It is definitely a place for contemplation.

Very nice guesthouse in a quiet area of Oudtshoorn. My room, which I was upgraded to, was very spacious, had everything I needed, and the bed was very comfy. The little pool was much appreciated to cool off during a hot summer day. Amanda and Frans are lovely hosts. Thanks for everything, I will gladly stay with you guys again when I come back to Oudtshoorn!

Beautiful apartment and garden. On our SA tour so far the best accommodation. Very safe place in a beautiful town.We will definitely come again.
