The cabin is beautifully designed and very well maintained. Everything was spotless and fully equipped, both in the kitchen and the living area, so you feel at home right away. Communication beforehand was friendly, quick and reliable, and there was always someone available on site in case any questions came up. You have plenty of privacy and the surrounding nature is stunning with a small pond where you can watch animals. At night you get an impressive sky full of stars that feels almost unreal. Overall it is a very charming and thoughtfully managed place.

The accomodation is located mid-distance between the cities of Oudtshoorn and George so we could enjoy activities all around. The cottage itself was comfortable and well decorated. Jamesly was a lovely host!

I’ve travelled all over the world and never had such a unique experience. It is a truly off-grid property without peer (that I know of). You are in middle of nowhere! Long dirt roads almost need 4x4 vehicle. No cell signal for kilometers! No internet! You have indescribable natural beauty totally isolated with your thoughts and companions. The cottage we had was professionally designed, newish, modern and comfortable. Every detail was thought out. The best feature was a wood burning hottub. Some fire building skills needed. There was solar power and plenty of hot water. Wonderful bathrooms. Curated kitchen. Bring everything you need food and supply wise. The only light pollution in the night sky was from the moon. The full Milky Way galaxy was on display. We had wild animals come directly near the cottage at night because we were quiet. It is definitely a place for contemplation.
