I booked hotel Gilbert based on the proximity to the MuseumsQuarter and the reviews and I must say I am super happy for my choice. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms, reasonable size for a short stay. Bathroom was comfortable and with nice ammenities. The room included espresso machine and a tea kettle which was great. Breakfast was awesome - plenty of choices with high quality ingredients and high quality cooking. The staff was very kind and helpful - which is so unusual for Vienna. I would like to highlight here that Bianca made a great impact on the way how we felt about the hotel and the stay - her kindness, professionalism, confidence and willingness to provide information about the hotel and the city were outstanding. the hall of the hotel was also very nice to sit and hang around in the evening after dinner. We were two friends with three kids and the kids really enjoyed staying and playing in the lobby - super child friendly staff. The big surprise was the hotel restaurant - great food and wine. I think Gilbert will become by go-to-hotel when in Vienna.

Hotel Altstadt Vienna might have been the best hotel we stayed at, and we travel a lot. It is very unique, filled with art and beautiful touches throughout. Our room and bathroom were a nice size for two, nice design, very comfortable bed and no noise from neighboring rooms. The breakfast was fresh and outstanding, the salon for breakfast or afternoon tea/ bar and drinks very inviting and masterfully designed, makes you really feel at home. The staff is super friendly and gave good advise on Christmas markets that are a bit off the beaten path or the main ones. Spittelberg is just minutes away and was new to us, as well as the suggested market at Karlsplatz - both with different vibes and excellent experiences. The neighborhood close to the museums is very pleasant and filled with countless restaurants - a great alternative to Innere Stadt. We come to Vienna on regular basis and certainly would love to stay here again.

Breakfast at 25 euro per person. We had a great selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, nuts, jams (strawberry and apricot), poached eggs with ham on spinach and brown bread, fruits, coffee and/or tea. Room was a good size for 2. Bed was the most comfortable one I’ve slept in Austria. The sheets are comfortable and great for a good night’s sleep. There’s a Nespresso machine. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to be pampered, this is the perfect hotel for you. From the decor, choices of furniture, fixtures, and linen to the design and space maximization of the room, everything is well curated, the perfect experience for a luxury boutique hotel. Just a side note. There is a spa you can book (but we weren’t able to because of lack of time) but there is no gym. I think the spa though is a great substitute.

Everything. Lovely room with stunning tall windows. Stayed in a deluxe double room. Staff were super, so helpful and warm. Hotel is stunning. Bar and food excellent. Great location, shopping on your doorstep and the underground also.
