Uluru as a whole was so unique and we loved it! The Outback Hotel was in a great location and the AC worked great which we really needed (it was 107 degrees for all 3 nights of our stay!) They also had awesome shops, free educational workshops, and a free bus that ran every 20 minutes to take you to different places throughout Uluru. We would absolutely recommend the Outback Hotel if you are planning a trip to Uluru!

Better than I expected!

Better than I expected! People - HIRE A BIKE, not a segwey!! Soooo much cheaper and you can ride all the way around in 3 hours. We originally booked segweys but cancelled due to the exhorbitant cost and got bikes instead which ended up so much better because they're faster and more comfortable and you don't have to worry about how to ride it so you can concentrate fully on taking in the scenery. Also a mesh flyscreen hat!! Life saver for everywhere around here. We didn't need it for Uluru because we went in the am but definitely did for other places like Kata Tjuta later that day.

This is a great hotel, much nicer than I expected! The photos on the website didn't do it justice. Rooms were clean and super comfortable, and the location is excellent. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Uluru

We had a pleasant stay at Desert Gardens Hotel. The location is perfect for visiting Uluru, making it very convenient for early morning tours and sunset views. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay in an excellent location.

The best hotel in town, not a real 5* but a very good 4*. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Uluru. Great restaurant, bar and room service options, lovely staff, quiet vibe and comfy beds.

Great location, closest to Uluru and only 'hotel' that has views from the property. As all hotels are under the ayers rock resort you can use any pools across all hotels. This property has the only pub and bottle shop in town. Great option if you are easy going and happy to have a drink at the end of the day in spray fans instead of aircon. All rooms have aircon but food facilities are outdoors with fans which is more fun than your usual hotel experience!

Uluru is a great place to visit and the accommodation is very expensive. This hotel has everything you need with nice toiletries. Food is very expensive so we went to the supermarket and bought food. Check out was too early at 10am. We only stayed one night as we were doing an outback camping tour.

The rooms were actually quite nice and better than you might expect, large and tidy and with a good AC and shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent (although quite expensive) and we all enjoyed the pool. Getting into the main village was actually quite easy with the free shuttle bus. You definitely pay a premium price as there’s not a lot of options in Uluru but I’d say the Outback hotel is maybe the best value of all options.

Well, there's not much choice in Uluru for stays, but i'm impressed that this apartment is included a small supermarket. My friends and I managed to get grocery to do hotpot party at night! And it located near aiport! it's easier to reach, and they provided free shuttle between staying area and airport!
