Easy to miss, but a nice tram ride to Roncesvalles.
Easy to miss, but a nice tram ride to Roncesvalles. Well worth the effort. A massive oasis with lakes and natural areas. Plenty of wild life on the water. Small but nice free zoo area with sustainable pens with native Canadian animals on display.
Probably our favourite relaxation spot in Toronto.

Well-situated apartment near the high park. Pro-active, direct communication with the kind and helpful host. Fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, kitchen. Small, but clean and very nice.

Close proximity to public transport. Lots of coffee shops nearby. Easy to find supermarket, places to eat. High Park is five mins walk away and a great sport for kids or walks in general

A super location for access to the city but also walks in High Park down to Lake Ontario. Great communication from our host who was understanding, empathetic and willing to offer solutions. We had a wonderful time.

Toronto islands.
Toronto islands. Also a visit to High Park turned out to be very pleasant surprise.With easy access on the subway this park has beautiful trees,shrubs and flowers.Had one of the best meals of our 4 week stay in Canada in the Grenadier Cafe in the middle of the park.Would definitely recomend.

Between Toronto Island and High Park, there are a lot of great places to go not far from the city's core. A great cheap way to blow a day nearby the hustle and bustle of the city. Bicycle rentals on Toronto Island were great. Nature in High Park was wonderful.
