This is a big museum. Takes 2 to 3 hours min. Really liked the Rock and Roll exhibit. Brought back a lot of memories.
Beware of the discounted evening offering...they only show a reduced amount of the exhibits - not the entire museum. This unlike the galleries in NYC, where if you go on their discount nights, you get access to the entire museum/gallery. And NYC's (MOMA for example) are free, not a reduced rate.
A place to avoid for the time being. The main collections are closed for renovations, but admission is still full price.
So many festivals take place here. I've attended Jazz Fest for the past three years.
“The included breakfast was delicious. We decided to walk from Place des Arts back to the hotel instead of taking the metro and it took only 20 Minutes. Many restaurants to choose from in close proximity. The balcony and opening window was lovely and fresh and the beds were very comfortable!”
