From the first communication weeks before we arrived all the way through. - Excellent food and wine options - better than expected, reasonably priced. Exceptional in every way. The staff goes above and beyond, from the minute you book the place. The food at the restaurant was great especially for breakfast.

Carla and Stefan run the most beautiful, intimate friendly Hotel where is an excellent breakfast in the morning and an honesty bar in the evening with their own artisanal beer. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but you do need to book. The bus to the Alpine ski lift runs every five minutes in the morning and is about 2 minutes walk away

We love Saas-Fee and tend to visit once or twice a year. Our usual hotel had been sold and shuttered, so we needed to find a new place to stay. We have passed by La Gorge several times over the years and thought it intriguing, so decided to give it a try. We were absolutely delighted! It is a family run boutique hotel that has been newly renovated. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the gorge and river. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming- we look forward to visiting again!
