Hotels near Jishuitan Station, Beijing

Everything. The staff was professional yet friendly and so helpful. Communication was excellent with all speaking English. The location was great, close to so many attractions. I loved the room, the hotel cats, the bar and restaurants. I can't say enough positive things. Simply a wonderful experience

The location is ideal as it is a few minutes walk to the main street with two subway stations a few blocks away in either direction. Food shops and restaurants and a spectacular bakery (Sapporo) are within walking distance. Beihai Park and the Forbidden City is 25 minutes walking distance away. The location makes it extremely easy to get around to areas of interest using the subway which is very convenient and easy. Mark is the responsible person for the guests. He goes over and beyond the call of duty to help each traveler individually with whatever they need. His command and understanding of English is excellent. He is extremely kind and patient with every guest. Mark helped me get a Sim card for my iPhone, a card for the subway, setup LetsVPN and WeChat, make a reservation for Tiananmen Square so that I could visit the Forbidden City, and even ordered a bullet train ticket for me to Xi’an. Mark clearly enjoys helping people. He is highly motivated to ensure every guest is able to successfully navigate Beijing without undue stress. I very much enjoyed the cozy decor of the interior court where guests eat breakfast together and can gather to exchange experiences after a long exciting day outdoors. The owners John and Kelly live on the premises with their small child but largely rely on Mark for guest relations. They are always nice, polite and grateful when they encounter a guest in their “home”. I can’t speak more highly of Kelly’s - it’s a unique experience for international travelers.

Great location if you like to stroll around different Hutong! Easy to find local street food and shopping is just outside. Walking distance to major attractions!

Smart Hotel, much modern than my expectation with very friendly staffs even the guard in front of the hotel. They speak very few English but it’s ok since I understand a little Chinese. The hotel designs are exceptional and impressive. The staffs are yound and handsome with such good service mind. One of them even offer sending me to the metro/subway when I couldn’t find a taxi and very traffic jam. I rode his motorbike on his back with my luggage in the front which feel a bit stranged but very thankful! Everything in the room is smart. TV, light, decorating light, etc. I also watched Zhao Lusi’s drama on the Smart TV during my stay. Japanese-like toilet seat (Automatic). Never seen one in China, this is the only place!!! The location, a bit far for walking from metro station, but ok with a very beautiful and ancient street. (If you know how to use public bicycle, that will be helpful) Very short walk to the lake (Houhai) and the restaurant I wished to visit. A lot of pub and restaurant there. If I have a chance to visit Beijing again, I’ll definitely stay here again!
