The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. The restrooms are nice and modern and they provide towels, toothbrushes, razors, and much more. The views are amazing and the beds are comfortable. The value for money is incredible and you probably won't get such a cheap place anywhere else in Guangzhou or the world.

The location is excellent for the Canton fair. 10-15 minutes walk comfortably. If you are coming for Canton fair, you may need to consider its location as you can completely avoid traffic-related delays. The staff team is very friendly and very helpful. They always try their best.

Breakfast was good, with many oriental options, sometimes labelled in English, and at other times not, but altogether navigable. The buffet options were great. The minibar was stocked and replenished daily with non-alcoholic beverages, and bottled water was in constant supply in the rooms. The cleaning is of a particularly high standard.

The apartment is clean and comfortable, with convenient transportation and close to Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are many authentic Cantonese dishes around, and Guang Zhouta and flower city square can be reached within walking distance, so it is very convenient to play and forage.

We had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Guangzhou. We arrived at around 10:00a , well before the official check in time, so our room wasn’t ready yet. The staff went above and beyond by allowing us to use the gym showers to freshen up after our journey and safely stored our luggage while we waited. The hotel is beautifully located just a few meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing breakfast, which offered a great variety of delicious options every morning. The staff were exceptional friendly, professional and always ready to assist. A special thank you to Martha, who kindly showed us the underground tunnel to the train station. Her help made getting around Guangzhou so much easier and we truly appreciated her kindness. Our original plan was to stay for just two nights, but we loved the experience so much that we extended our stay by another six nights. This hotel truly felt like a home away from home. Whenever I return to Guangzhou, the InterContinental will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommended.
