Book things early. Understand what tour consists of. One tour was very deceiving in brochure, it didn't mention fact that bus only brought you to start of the tour which is 6 hours long and save for the 50 minute boat trip, it is All Walking
It was fun people watching. But the ham and potato vendor was a rip off. The food was good but charged by the lb and you cannot ask for a certain amount, they load up way more than you can eat. Most expensive meal on our trip by far.
Dont trust the old ham street food sellers, you need to tell how many grams you want of the ham or the potato dish. Otherwise you will be asked for near £30 in Czech money for a lump of ham no person could eat or a portion of potato that will feed a family
If you book a room on a street by the square, make sure its windows face an inner courtyard rather than the street. Both nights, we had to put up with the constant noise of loud crowds walking right under our window until 3:00 a.m.
Incredible architecture, worth seeing. There was an Easter market that was okay to walk through, a bit touristy but with some interesting crafts and foods. The businesses on the square and surrounding areas are completely touristified; make dinner reservations somewhere else.
In the old town square there is an exchange center ,Chequepoint, in one of the corner of Staromestske and Zelezena which is a real ... They change a 100 Euro of us with 1500 korona while the exchange rate every other were was 2400! They even refused to describe us why?? Just closed their cashier window!!!

Fantastic host and location! A beautiful apartment with a central location with close walks to Old Town Square and St. Charles bridge, yet off the beaten path for a quiet nights sleep. The host, Karen, was a fantastic help and arranged transportation to and from airport, map, advice, tidbits, and just an all around nice and interesting help. If we ever get the privilege to return to Prague, we will stay here again. The hotel's breakfast was right across a small street and was a fantastic buffet. Really recommend his place to everyone!

Beautiful hotel on a quiet street away from the hoards in Old Town Square. Friendly, helpful staff, all multilingual. Exceptional breakfast buffet, with cereal, breads, eggs, bacon and sausage, ham and cheese, fruit, salmons, lovely pastries, and even sparkling wine. Room was comfortable and had a minibar and a safe. The #23 tram goes to Prague Castle and is only a block away, but it only runs every 30 minutes. Others that run far more often are about 1/4 mile away, so easy access. Highly recommended.

My stay at the emblem hotel was exceptional. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Ask for help and they will not disappoint you. Special shout out goes to Erika. The hotel is beautifully located just right across from the old town square. Everything about the hotel itself was excellent, helpful staff, very clean room, lovely breakfast, great steakhouse, beautiful SPA, and most importantly a very warm and friendly lounge. I would definitely recommend everyone I know visiting Prague.

Rather than a hotel room, this was a one-bedroom efficiency apartment. It had a small but comfortable living room, a small table (that also served as a desk) separating the kitchen from the living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and neat, and there was plenty of storage area. It was also a great location--a 1-minute walk to the river, 10-minutes to Old Town Square, 25-minutes to Prague Castle.

The location was first rate-right in the Old Town Square area. Easy access to restaurants, shops and other points of interest. The staff, particularly Osty, was kind and informative and always helpful. The buffet was delicious and the variety of breakfast foods available was really very good. I was very pleased with this hotel and will stay there again on our next visit to Prague.

Hotel is a good value for the price, location is great about 7min walking from Old Town Square. The staff is very nice they offered different options for touring around Prague an will also help you to coordinate this tours. Rooms are small and look old but they are still clean and with everything you need. Breakfast was good.

Hotel facilities were excellent, including a large bathroom with both shower and bathtub in the apartment, these, alongside with nice hotel staff that were always willing to help us. this is what we liked the most about this hotel. Last, but not least, hotel location is nearby old town square and most attractions

This may be the most incredible hotel experience we have ever had. The staff is so attentive, everyone goes out of their way to anticipate your every need. Breakfasts are to die for, rooms are comfortable, location is 6 minutes walk from Old Town Square. We love this place!

This apartment was in a perfect location in Old Prague. A short walk to the Charles Bridge and the Old town square. The apartment has been nicely updated with a modern kitchen and bath. Silvie was great and very helpful in checking in and out.

The location of the apartment is just a 'Hop Skip n Jump' away from the Prague Old Town Square. A very beautiful apartment with a sit out area.
Move away from the main tourist streets (like Karlova and everything around Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). Go on foot to Vyšehrad.
National Museum (Národní museum) or Museum of Warhol, Dalí and Mucha on Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí).
To walk along river Vltava to Charles´s bridge and through this to Prague Castle, Stop by on Old Town Square and look at the Astronomical clock Orloj and enjoy the street musicians and artists.
In every corner of Prague Castle or in Churches, in Old Town square and in thiny streets etween old buildings history comes to life
King Charles Bridge, Kampa Museum, Astrological Clock, Old town square
Get a map, go on walking tours, there are plenty of them and worth it. Around Old town square and castle is where all good walks are...
