Stayed only 2 nights :(( NOT ENOUGH for such a great town. Leppert hotel right in the old town square with magnificent view of the square. Awesome to be able seat outside at the hotel under umbrella and have a beer and watch people. planning to go back for longer time next time. recomment river tour at sunset from Charles Bridge walking distance from the hotel.
We have been to this beautiful city in the summer but this time it was for the Christmas Market and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree. An incredible experience - there are small markets in several locations and so we got to walk various parts of the city and it was overall an experience we will always treasure.
It’s crowded and lively with many shops selling garnet and amber jewelry, as well as other Czech specialties. Stores, bars and restaurants are open late (loud), so I would not choose a hotel in this district.
The festive atmosphere was enjoyable. Surely it was oriented toward visitors, and I was a resident, I would likely avoid this area much of the time, but the street performers, the artists, the restaurants and the architecture was all enjoyable.
Book things early. Understand what tour consists of. One tour was very deceiving in brochure, it didn't mention fact that bus only brought you to start of the tour which is 6 hours long and save for the 50 minute boat trip, it is All Walking
It was fun people watching. But the ham and potato vendor was a rip off. The food was good but charged by the lb and you cannot ask for a certain amount, they load up way more than you can eat. Most expensive meal on our trip by far.
This is the best 500kc hotel room I have stayed in while in the CR. Very modern, bright, and safe with big rooms, hot water maker and microwave and fridge in the rooms, nice bathroom, good wifi, decent free breakfast, and a superior location nearby Nam Repuclicky and the Old town square and public transport. Tons of popular bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk.....TONS of bars and restaurants. They even have balconies for smokers so you don't have to constantly go downstairs and outside.
Everything was great during my stay in Prague. The hotel is perfectly located - just 10 minutes away from the Old Town Square -, the staff were very nice, the room was very good and the breakfast was almost perfect. I think the only thing that I would chance is to add some regional products to it, because when I travel I really like to taste the regional food and not the 'comum worldwide food'. Besides that, I'll totally recomend this hotel and certainly will stay there again
The location is first class. It's 300 meters to the Charles Bridge and 400 meters to the Old Town Square. Metro station Staromestska is literally around the corner. The rooms are actually small apartments and quite spacious. They have a kitchenette and a small fridge. It's not one of those modern apartment hotels with a lack of ambience. This place is an old and recently renovated building with high ceilings, old-fashioned windows and a lot of charm.
Golden Well Hotel is a traveler's paradise! It has great amenities and the Golden Well staff is outstanding. The hotel rooms offer amazing views of Prague. Dining at Terasa's rooftop was outstanding with more great views of the city and its beautiful spires. Excellent location for walking to the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, cathedrals and visiting historic sites.
Hotel was amazing. So close to all the major tourist areas. Steps from old town square. Room was large, well appointed, and comfortable. Front staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and everything was delicious. Was kinda bummed to leave the hotel to move on to our next destination. Would come back here any time I am in Prague again. So happy with this hotel.
Close to Old Town square and Paladium shopping centre. No eye catching hotel sign, the hotel name is on the door screen. Actually the hotel is very close to Prague main station, but not easy to walk up to the station, especially for travel with family and carry big luggages. So it needs to take a taxi for less than 5 minutes for a cost of 300 Kc or 12 Euro, which is a bit costly
Location is great, Old Town Square is only 200m away from the Hotel. Our room was very clean. Since our first night was 14. February they set a bottle of champagne and a cake for us in our room. Breakfast, which includes 5-6 different types of cheese, hams, cakes, breads.. was also more than expected.
amazing apartment in probably the best location in Prague - directly in the heart of Old Town , 3-4 minute walking from the Old Town Square , very modern equipment, has air-conditioning in all rooms, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. i would surely recommend and will be back
Central Hotel Prague is in wonderful location. This is true center of Prague, nearby underground stations, nearby Wenceslas square, nearby Old Town Square. Everything in comfortable walking distance. Very good breakfast selection and menu, often re-filled.
Move away from the main tourist streets (like Karlova and everything around Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). Go on foot to Vyšehrad.
National Museum (Národní museum) or Museum of Warhol, Dalí and Mucha on Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí).
To walk along river Vltava to Charles´s bridge and through this to Prague Castle, Stop by on Old Town Square and look at the Astronomical clock Orloj and enjoy the street musicians and artists.
In every corner of Prague Castle or in Churches, in Old Town square and in thiny streets etween old buildings history comes to life
King Charles Bridge, Kampa Museum, Astrological Clock, Old town square
Get a map, go on walking tours, there are plenty of them and worth it. Around Old town square and castle is where all good walks are...
