I had the most wonderful stay at Stern am Rathaus in Cologne. From the moment I arrived, the owners were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. Even though I checked in late, the process was seamless, and throughout my stay they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The room was cozy and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable—I slept better here than at the nearby 4-star hotel I stayed at earlier, which wasn’t nearly as memorable. Each morning started with a fresh, homemade breakfast buffet, including made-to-order eggs and bacon, which was such a treat. Everything about this hotel felt personal, warm, and thoughtful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Cologne.

The concept of the hotel is very interesting. Although there was no staff present, the check-in process went smoothly. The room was exactly as described, clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean with all the necessary amenities. Great and responsive customer support. We only stayed for one night. Would recommend!
