United KingdomThe staff were friendly and amiable. I have a gluten free diet and this was accommodated at breakfast time. I also needed to use the hotel fridge on one occasion and staff enabled me to do this with ease. The bar staff were also very friendly and amiable.

Super breakfast, diversified menu with changes every day (which I never saw anywhere else). Breakfast hall, very modern, recently renewed, is at the 5th floor and has a very nice terrace around. Very friendly and polite staff. Very comfortable bed, modern bathroom.

Excellent location some 300m from Gewandhaus and city centre. Polite reception staff. Good and practical car parking on a closed yard near to the building. It was easy to arrange self-catering with a number of supermarkets around (NB they are all closed on Sundays!)

Excellent location in walking distance from several main attractions (Saint Thomas church, Bach's house-museum, Gewandhaus Concert Hall). Clean and quiet room with nice view, very good breakfast, digital TV with numerous channel options, and all that at a reasonable room rate. I also loved having access to all facilities using my smartphone!

A large room in a lovely old building, with access to shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen-dining room. It was quiet, relatively central - perfect for the Gewandhaus and Opera - and it had a proper Reception desk with friendly staff. Great for those who like atmosphere, less so for those who want a lift and the latest design features.

The hotel is very well located, not far from the centre and, especially, if you visit the Gewandhaus or the Opera, you will appreciate how close it is.
I enjoyed the approach of the hotel about every day cleaning of your room - you can say what you need or expect.
I love the idea of a guest kitchen 24/7!
The staff is professional, friendly and easy going, always helpful and also positive!
