Good size of room (superior), excellent mattress and pillows, quality toiletries. Also breakfast was excellent.

The staff was superior! They all were kind, ready to go out of their way make our stay a perfect one.

The hotel has the old world charm of a classic building with modern amenities. It occupies a prestigious location overlooking the Brandenburg Gate and close to many shopping areas and restaurants. At check-in I asked to be upgraded to a deluxe room, which was luckily available over looking one of the inner courtyards. The room is spacious and has all the modern amenities but the decor is a bit dated and can benefit from an update. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious but the flow is a bit weird. The room came with breakfast which was served in the first floor with seating arrangements in multiple locations some overlooking gardens and others overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. The food quality is good and the service level was excellent. Of particular note is Ibrahim and Phillip who went out of their way to make our breakfast experience, but one has to ask and sometimes insist on sitting on a particular as the host sometimes appear to want to sit you in any table and claim that the other is occupied. Always ask a waiter and most probably they will accommodate your request. Part of the breakfast rooms double as the two Michelin star restaurant, Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer ,a very nice dining experience indeed. Also there is the Brasserie Quarré, which also served superb dishes. On days where the weather is good they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. The concierge was very helpful in booking us a very nice family owned Italian restaurant ( Il Punto) with in walking distance from the hotel. Generally speaking almost all the hotel staff that I interacted with were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Exceptional staff - kind, warm and helpful. Very large and comfortable room. Excellent food and bar inside the hotel!
