This was not my first time staying at the Camarote hotel, as I had already enjoyed it very much last year. The property is very nice, it is a short walk from the cathedral and the terrace has a breathtaking view of the cathedral. The rooms are spacious, airy, very elegant and beautiful and the soft lighting is really nice and relaxing. I had the privilege of having a dedicated breakfast all to myself--really thank you and highly recommended!

Hi there!!! This place is a trip in itself!!! As always I just didn't follow up the route guidance that the hotel send, so I ended up in the parking of Plaza Mayor, so when I go to find the hotel I just pass along a very heavy graffiti garage door, then I reach the hotel, what a blast!! Incredible, specially the sunk floor detail. So after check in I went to bring my family across the street and stop in front of to the graffiti door and wait as if this was the place, you can imagine the faces!!! You have to see and experience the place to get your "Awesome mode" on !!!

Incredible architectural composition, built over the foundations of former Roman baths during a period when Leon itself was still a tiny township. The stained glass windows in the cathedral are simply breathtaking.

Staff here are very friendly. And the bed is equipped with curtain to secure the privacy. Location is very good - 5min to the Leon cathedral, and downstairs is a square with lots of restaurants! Very nice.

Absolutely gorgeous suite a block from main square and two blocks from the impressive Leon Cathedral. The gentleman who assisted was so kind, professional and patient with us. He assisted with our luggage transfer as well. The suite is beautiful and super clean. Linens were crisp and beds so cozy. Bathroom and kitchen functional and modern. This place was by leaps and bounds our very favorite over the the last 22 nights in hotels, pensions, hostals, albergues and apartments.

The property is located right next to the spectacular León Cathedral with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Pedro, the manager is very kind and helpful. The premises feature a washer and dryer, fridge, stove, kettle and comfortable sofa/sitting area to read or watch TV. Everything is clean and new - one of the nicest and best equipped hostels I’ve ever stayed at!

location was within steps of the Leon Cathedral, but still on a quiet, safe street; apartment was sparkling clean with all of the modern amenities anyone would need, fully stocked, functioning kitchen, close to good grocery store, keyless entry, the best management who responded to my every request or question literally within minutes and even stopped by with a bottle of nice wine. The most comfortable, restful, lovely accommodation on the Camino.
