Extremely friendly staff, great room and facilities and a fantastic restaurant and breakfast.

The food was amazing! Interesting and delicious. A swimming lake nearby. I left a pair of shorts, all was closed when I returned. I found a member of staff in the laundry she was so helpful!

The breakfast was very lovingly prepared. There was homemade cake and homemade honey. Very rich and very good.

Location, nice bed, nice shower. Nice welcome.

Everything was very well organised at this hotel. The breakfast was very good value at only €12 pp. There was everything necessary for a perfect set up to the day. There is a covered parking under the hotel that is free ! With a lift from the garage to the first floor & again another lift to the remaining 2 levels of the hotel. We had 2 rooms in Les catrems. This is where the reception & breakfast room are. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and warm and very cosy with wonderful views on the mountains. Ski hire shops / supermarkets / restaurants / bars are all very close to the hotel. The ski slopes are only 5 minutes walk. The reception organised our ski lift passes for the duration of our stay. They recommended Skimium for the ski hire & I can’t recommend them enough - friendly super helpful and cost a lot less than competitors. The guests were all very respectful and the hotel well isolated and calm. Our rooms were on each side of floor 3 and we didn’t hear any noise at all. We will definitely return with pleasure to this hotel and also to Orcieres Merlette were people are all so welcoming and wonderfully friendly. We ate really well and served perfectly in each and every restaurant in this resort. The food was delicious and also big portions. This really was a wonderful holiday for our family and daughters ages 10 and 12 years old.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The Restaraunt was good and a nice buffet breakfast. We'll stay again.

Ski chalet type hotel with beautiful local cuisine. I visited in the heart of summer and the countryside was stunning! The rooms and facilities are exactly what you would expect from a ski chalet but the food and bar was superb. Absolutely loved the staff and got on great discussing life in my broken French and their Broken English. Such fun and such beautiful food and scenery

The hotel was clean and the views were amazing

I had a lovely stay at this traditional guest house. The owners were very welcoming even with my terrible French. The food was all local recipes cooked with local produce and was very tasty. Don't go here if you're on a diet 😂 Good hikes start right outside the front door. Highly recommended!

I like the location and privacy

The staff were very very kind, especially the 2 guys who were on this morning… I didn’t get their names but they were so obliging and helpful. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable. Great value for money, clean, secure. My room was quiet. Would recommend and will be back next time I am travelling through the area. I wish I knew about it sooner, very handy location if GAP is part of your route.

The staff were very accommodating! The cheif cooked us steak at last minute which was amazing. Friendly and helpful was all the team. I would love to go back.

We enjoyed the slightly authentic room, The evening meal was served by attentive (but not invasive) staff and was really nice and just what we needed However overall all the staff especially “Fred” were beyond helpful- we had some personal issues to sort out from a previous accommodation in Grenoble ( our vehicle was broken into ( in Grenoble) and Fred and his staff assisted in some awkward paperwork required for the police ) Evening meal was great as was breakfast we were genuinely sad to leave because we enjoyed every minute of our stay Staff honestly couldn’t have been more helpful and well beyond any hotel chain We’d be back tomorrow if we weren’t travelling southwards Thank you to all concerned Dave and Lisa

Our stay was wonderful with Horizons du lac! Plenty of activities/nice location/very clean and comfortable rooms ❤️ All the staff was very kind and helpful! We only had problem with the food unfortunately there wasn't any vegetables scrambled eggs, fried egg, sausage (apart from boiled egg) mostly just sweet stuff which weren't prefer fir breakfast. The dinner wasn't so good either most of the stuff was tasteless for us!!! Overall I would definitely recommend to everyone ig they would change the menu at breakfast and put more taste to the dinner it would be an amazing hotel with no fault ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing time in this beautiful location. The station was very nice and the atmosphere and staff were very friendly and helpful. Family oriented, no request was too much for the staff. The chef and the food, no words to express, exceptional quality, 5 stars plus .I will definitely be back this year. We love it ... thank you
