We booked at very short notice, the staff were very accommodating, our room was ready for us and was really clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant also did delicious food and drinks!

A beautiful little hotel with a restaurant and bar. After a long day, we were welcomed by the staff who provided a safe locked room to store our bikes safely. A basic menu, but food is well cooked and tasty. Good beer and a comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Thus is right in the centre of Arromanches and easy to find on arrival. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful experience and terrific value for money. Travelling on a bike tour with my son we booked 2 seperate rooms for the typical price of one in this area. A nice drink in the bar then booked dinner which was a 10+ again at very reasonable price. Staff made bike storage and everything about our stay easy, convenient and joyful. My wife and I are planning a trip to France later this year and I will go out of our way to enjoy another stay at this excellent establishment

The hôtel is in a beautiful spot about 15 minutes from Bayeux and 5 from Port en Bessin. It looked charming as we approached it and was full of character. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

Helpful and friendly staff, most of them have been employed for many years. Excellent breakfast with good coffee (machine) and fresh food: ham & camembert, exellent home-made cheese cake, fresh apple and good french bread mini-croissant….etc Good restaurant but somehow pricey compared to other restaurants in the Bayeux area. I guess you pay for the seaview from the restaurant which is indeed unbeatable ;-)

The property was very close to all the historical sites with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of different choices.

The hotel was quiet and friendly with history in the walls and the restaurant was fantastic, and the location was within 40 minutes drive to all the WW II historic sites and museums.

Besides of that the location was amazing, and the room was nice, what we loved the most that the staff was super welcoming and friendly, not just with us but also with our dog. She stay in the hotel’s bar with us as well. Truly dog-friendly hotel! I only can recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at Château de Bellefontaine. The property itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The staff were consistently kind and professional throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, bright, and very clean. It felt comfortable and well-maintained, with a calm and refined style that matched the château perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and well-prepared, with a good variety of quality products. It was a great way to start the day in such a serene setting. The restaurant experience was excellent. The setting is elegant, the chef clearly knows what he’s doing, and the dishes were both refined and delicious. Definitely the top highlight of the stay. The garden and surroundings are truly exceptional.

The owner was very kind and waited for us to check in! The room was comfortable and the temperature perfect, we didn't have breakfast but it seems to be renowned for this. Super central hotel
