The hotel was lovely, i m not even going to mention the location. It was pretty much the best choice we could have made. Lovely breakfast too. Board games downstairs made the evenings a tad more fun.

Le Castillan and its employees are top notch, local hosts. They truly enjoy inspiring you with the serenity and beauty of Alpe d'Huez and everything the town offers. The location is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the "Shopping" and "Bar" district, but distinctly close enough you don't need to break a sweat (but still count those stairs) to get there! Ski lifts are all located within 5 minutes walk.

PopAlp in L'Alpe-d'Huez has 3-star accommodations with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Among the various facilities are ski-to-door access and a ski pass sales point.
