Comfortable hotel, super friendly staff and nice local atmosphere. Good breakfast and very easy access to the skiing.

I stopped by with a friend on our cycling trip and we spent a night at the Auberge. We had a great stay with the exceptionally nice owner. The location of this very tasteful accommodation is incredibly beautiful, the food in the evening was top cuisine for a reasonable price and the breakfast was exceptionally good and fortified us for the whole day on the bike. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to the great menu. I can absolutely recommend this accommodation, especially for cyclists, as there is a special pasta dish as well as bike repair tools if required. The hosts took very good care of us.

Very kind host. They offered us to park our motorcycle in their private basement. The hotel is based in a small village near Col du Galibier. Spacious rooms with nice view of the mountains. We also had a tasty dinner with reasonable price.

You can't beat the view from this chalet. Its light and color changes every minute, and you can look at it for hours. Breakfast is good and nutritious, with local jam and yoghurt. Olivier runs the place with an eye for durability and ecology. He has good wines (try the Savoie!) and offered us a few glasses for free as compensation for closing the restaurant (we are the only guests). The place was spotless, very clean. ! Special mention: chalet mascotte and pure joy: an Italian Greyhound called Uranie!

It was really nice, the room was spacious, big bathroom, and the personnel really nice and helpfull. The first day we took the bus to the skistatios, but it was not a good ideea cause if you want to take a walk after skiing u have to care with you all the equipment so it was not convenient. So we took the car the next day , we found easy parking spots and it took us max 15min (there are ~11km).

I don’t understand the negative comments—our group of four adults had a fantastic time! The location is pure luxury, just steps from the ski lift, allowing us to wake up late and still enjoy a full day of skiing. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The buffet food was impressive considering the volume served daily. There’s a wide variety (pasta, pizza, meat, fish, etc.), and the taste is more than fair. The activities were abundant—yoga, kids’ shows, après-ski snacks, games, and evening performances. It’s just a shame most of it was in French, which could limit accessibility for some guests. The staff were phenomenal, especially at the bar. Despite serving countless drinks, they were always smiling and attentive. For the value, it’s an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Breakfast could be better but it was OK considering the price of the room. Otherwise everything else was excellent. The beds were super comfy (medium mattresses). I would definitely stay here again for the comfort and great location alone.

The views were fantastic. The hotel was in a great position for the ski lifts. Ski in ski out was perfect. The breakfast every morning had a good choice of fruit, cereal, croissants cakes, cooked sausage bacon, and eggs. Boiled eggs ham etc, selection of jams choc spread etc. The rooms were warm, clean, comfy with a nice balcony overlooking the slopes. Staff were helpful and cheerful. The bar area was cosy with sofas and a large outside food/drink terrace.
