It's interesting, but I was kind of disappointed because you only spend a few second there, for a quick photo. I would have liked to stay at least 2-3 minutes, to enjoy the view and do some video recording and more photos.
It took my friend awhile to work up the courage to go into it, but the fellow taking the photos was very supportive and encouraging, so she got up the nerve to join me and the wonderful photos were well worth it! Do not miss the chance to get your special photo!
This is basically something that comes with the package of paying for the Aiguille du midi ticket. It is not as fascinating as it sounds when there is a long queue of people waiting to have their pictures taken at this spot.
Don't rush up to the top you may get altitude sickness. Make sure you bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated. Ensure your phone/camera is charged as you will want to take lots of photos. Only go on a clear day - early before it is too busy. Don't look down!! Do the void it is worth it (included in the price of the lift).
The line can be long (wear something that will keep you warm, because it's cold up there!), but the end result is amazing. Their employees take pictures of you and your friends with your device so one of your friends won't be missing from your pictures. And their employees are good picture takers. They take a lot of pictures.
