Location, views and food - I loved the setting, the terrace that wraps around the hotel and where breakfast is served in the summer has a breath-taking view over the mountains and the marmots. The location is great with easy access to neighbouring villages and lots of hike departure points nearby. The service is really lovely, you feel like you are part of their family, they are willing to help but they are not intrusive. I strongly recommend the "demi pension" where you get breakfast and the meal of the day which is all home made and delicious.

Chantal and Gerard were lovely hosts. They cooked an evening meal for us which was truly excellent. The room was small but as described and very comfortable. We travelled by motorcycle and Gerard opened his garage so we could park securely. Their Auberge is right on the route which took us past their door. All in all, a perfect stay.

New, modern, very well thought hotel, ski room at -1 with direct connection to the parking, modern Spa, fitness room with eco friendly equipment. The owners and cleaning personnel were extremely friendly and kind. Kitchen and food are at top quality. After 16 years living in France this was the first time I felt respected and truly welcomed as a customer. This hotel gets my sincere admiration.

We booked for 1 night. The hotel is in a small alpine village high in the mountains and the scenery sensational. Mary Jane was our hostess and everything ran like clockwork. Dinner that night was amazing, (prepared by Maurice her husband), freshly caught mountain brown trout cooked to perfection and the starter of warm goat’s cheese had to be tasted to be believed. The local beer was very good and the local high alps wine we chose was incredible. Breakfast the next morning was a wonderful start to the day.

We enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. Facilities were clean and recently renovated, including the garden. Breakfast was worth the price.

Fantastic location inside the fortress of Mont Dauphin. Family run auberge. Guillaume is a very lovely and accommodating host. Breakfast was exceptional and we loved the local produce on offer for us to try. The restaurant was also fantastic.

Great staff from the restaurant Dinner, and reception. Very hospitable and accommodating. Breakfast in small buffet style straightforward for a quick start. Great location, just behind the train station and busses to go to ski area Risoul or Vars. Room well-appointed and comfortable.
