The staff are really friendly, helpful & professional & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need. Breakfast is amazing and the evening meal very high quality and good value. It’s a great place to stay and we always wish we had longer.

United KingdomWe absolutely loved our night away. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was beautiful. We have stayed in many places but the cleanliness of this place was amazing! The cottage was spotless and was fitted with everything you would need. The staff are lovely, and everything is made so easy from check-in to check out. The location is gorgeous, with lovely walks surrounding the house that ourselves, the kids, and our dog enjoyed. We will be back.

Perfect for our trip to Drumlanrig Castle, very quiet (it's actually detached from the main building). A lot of though has gone into making sure quests are comfortable and have everything they need, down to milk in the fridge and some very nice local biscuits.

Fabulously located in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle. Great views of the castle from all rooms. Well equipped kitchen; comfortable beds; cosy electric fire; plenty of hot water for the lovely shower; amazing welcome basket. The grounds are a gorgeous mix of formal gardens and vast woodlands which we spent all our time walking in. The starry skies at night are amazing!

What a gem! The studio forms part of Drumlanrig Castle, set in 90,000 acres with plenty of walks. The studio is lovely, a large well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils etc. Very comfy bed, stunning views and a haven to come back to after a day's walking. Nice and warm too. Parking easy too.

Beautiful and perfect location in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle. Very quiet and secluded. Amazing walks with the dog without using the car. Very high spec inside the cottage with comfy beds, cosy quilts and luxury bathrooms. The hot tub was fantastic too after our long walks. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again.

Everything was perfect, we stayed there prior to and after we were married at auchen castle... Its incredible and the best place I've stayed in.
We love drumlanrig castle and Scotland so its embedded in the lifetime memories of our wedding.
The inspirational architecture, attention to detail, the undulating manicured gardens and history embedded landscape are a living novel. Thankyou. Mr & Mrs.Casson

We liked the layout, the cleanliness and the safety precautions of the cottage. We enjoyed the garden and sitting area with the frequent visitation of a host of bird species including red kite. The cottage has car parking adjacent and the WiFi reception is good. The bed is spacious and comfortable and the facilities are excellent throughout. The cottage is close to several tourist spots including The Crawick Multiverse, and Drumlanrig Castle.
