We had breakfast both days and a meal on the evening of our arrival. All were delicious especially the menu recommendations from Karen, the proprietor. The dining room was roomy, the bar area was lively and the quality of the beer shows someone obviously knows what they are doing.

In scenic Croxdale, the Honest Lawyer Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel just 5 minutes’ drive from Durham center.

Very attentive welcoming helpful staff all around. The food was delicious. The pub / restaurant was so warm and welcoming after a long days work.

The Three Horseshoes is located within 10 minutes’ drive of the beautiful city of Durham. With parts of the building over 300 years old, it still retains some quirky, original features.
