Some buildings are very nice in this buildings and are really good great historical value, some are hardly maintained or never maintained. The good thing is that there is variety of shops in this street for all budgets . They down side is it doesn’t feel safe, the road is relatively narrow ( British standard) and it’s over packed with tourists and obviously lots of mugging going on, I’ve heard of one when I was there for two hours only.
It's long, it's full of shops, it's legendary for being absolutely heaving approaching Christmas. You probably want Bond Street tube if you don't feel like walking. If you must Christmas shop here, go as early as you can manage, and definitely not in December.
This street you can enjoy all kinds of Luxry shopping experience, for everyone comes to london should come here for a vist, to feel the old-brand capiltalist country and its luxury fashion, Welcome to london, Oxford street as well!
If U Want to shop the universal brands here ur destination just fill up ur credit card as much as you can because you will leave all of them when you shop coz everything is a breathtaking and you fell that you have to take it or your heart will jump out
So many shops were offering 50-70% off sales! With the Pound already at a discounted rate I'll bet tourists couldn't believe the high quality bargains! I noticed a few filling suitcases. Picked up some bargains myself from nearby Regent Street.
Selfridges a good shopping experience, with some great shops off Oxford street, but some are expensive in New Bond Street, so only visit them if you’re prepared to buy very good quality, luxury goods.
The breakfast was very good. The eggs were delicious and the bread used for the toast was really good. I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for location - it was perfect. It was so easy getting there from the airport and Paddington Station, and then getting to the places I wanted to go with the help of the Tube app (so great). Also Walkability to Kensington Palace, Oxford Street was amazing. Having pubs nearby was great as well. I went to the Dickens twice for dinner and it was handy just having to walk around the corner to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is good, it is close to Kingston Park, very close to Hydepark and also on foot you can reach the Museum Quarter, near the hotel there are two metro stations, one of which sits on the Central Line, and therefore very easy to get to Oxford Street for walking and shopping, or to Westminster Station. Most of the monuments of London there, it takes from the hotel via the metro, door to door, between - 25 - 30 minutes to the main attraction. (london eye - big pen - buckengham palace)
The location is only a couple of blocks from Hyde Park, a little further to Marble Arch and Oxford Street, but walkable. Close to bus lines and underground. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with choices of cold buffet and made to order hot dishes. We got the room with a separate seating area. Well worth it for the extra room. Would definitely stay here again.
Easy to access nearby places. Just 7 to 8 mins walk to Oxford Street. Apartment looks almost new. Property management is super friendly in all manners. Can get ur online orders and letters easily as they drop in a small lobby downstairs in safe place. Property is fully covered with CCTV so nothing to worry in this.
Super location. Covent Garden Market - 7 minutes walk, Buckingham Palace - 15 minutes walk, Big Ben - 15 minutes walk, Oxford Street, underground, bus stop, restaurants and cafes offering breakfast - all this is very close to the hotel.
Amazing little hotel in the heart of everything, close to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Drury Lane and Oxford Street. We had a brilliant stay and the Manager Sajaad is amazing and so helpful.
Very clean, you have all the facilities that you need for a 3 star hotel; perfect location near Hyde park, Oxford Street and Padington Station, good value for the money. Very nice staff.
Hotel is excellent , well located easy walk to regents park and Oxford street shopping . Great onsite restaurants and bars Corner suite is the perfect size for a 3 day stay
Location is nice, near almost everything, walking distance to Madam Tussaud's, London Mosque and Oxford Street.
If you want to do some shopping, but want to avoid the crowds, you should stay away from Oxford Street and Portobelle Road on Saturdays. Take a trip to some of the boroughs outside the city's centre and discover the local atmosphere. Ask someone in a shop or the staff at your hotel, if you need a few suggestions for a good day out away from the crowds. I usually ask them where they go for a day out.
you have all kinds if shopping from all the big chain stores found on oxford street to the markets and vintage stalls in camden town, also carnaby street for a something a little bit different
Plan your trip and staying in details. Do a little research what are the busiest times/days. Skip using tube/buses unless you really have to. Avoid the busiest shopping/tourist areas (there is much more to London than Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square).
Close to major shopping areas like Covent Garden,Regent Street and Oxford Street
Shop anywhere except Oxford Street as there is a heaving mass of humanity.
You can find a lot of various useful things for every taste and purse all-over London and especially at the Oxford street of course
