It’s a street which starts at Tottenham Court road underground and ends at Marble Arch underground station. And it’s a shoppers paradise. You can shop, shop, shop and of course when tired, can eat as well. One of the most prominent shopping street (upmarket and organised) in the world I would say. Must visit while in London and you won’t regret.
This street is huge so if traveling to Oxford street by tube, go to Oxford circus station if Penny’s(primark) is your first shopping destination. For the centre of Oxford street it’s Bond street station you want. Can’t help with the very end of the street as we never made it that far.

Oxford street is a very busy street, filled with many beautiful and well equipped malls to shop at. Harrods, the perfume shop, the body shop, marks and spencer, Selfridges, zara, foot locked, sports direct, Primark and lots of eatries like mc-donalds, starbuckks for your coffee. You see lots of tourists from all works of life and different countries on oxford street. Its very good!
It is busy any day. I knew which stores I wanted to see in advance. There are several bus stops along the street and side streets and big department stores have food places. You will need a break and your feet will hurt.
One can easily shop til they drop! Tons of options at all price points. I was pleasantly surprised there were so many plus size stores around with great-looking options, as it is usually difficult to find good options most anywhere. This area is a must-do if you enjoy retail therapy.

We LOVED the location of the Bloomsbury Hotel...quick walk to Oxford Street, Carnaby Street, Soho & Covent Garden. Very Central Location for Shopping and Great Restaurants. What we loved most was the little deli across the street from the Bloomsbury - EVE's Cafe . They made the BEST Takeaway breakfast egg sandwiches and all the food there was amazing and very inexpensive! Ask for Manny...he will take care of you! Best Food we had in Europe! Highly recommend visiting Eves!

Big size room for london standards and a nice view of the rooftops of london. clean we had a room at the last floor facing the back and not front street so it was very quite . The location is great' a five min walk to baker street underground station that connects to the heart of london in less than 10 min rides. also a 10 min walk to Oxford street for a nice shopping experience.

The location is rather lovely as it is situated not too far from Oxford Street in London... being a short bus ride away, or a5-15 min trip via the Underground. The Nandos nearby is excellent. The room was quiet and it was a non-smoking room. My room was so high (on the 4th floor), and there is no elevator... that I could hear the birds in the morning. which was lovely.

Cheap 40 GBP for a night in a single room with a private bathroom and breakfast! Friendly staff. Location is perfect, walking distance to Hyde Park and Oxford street. Paddington station is very close. Single room is small but this is what I have expected, but the most important is the comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Really really close to Oxford street and other stores, wasn't noisy at night which is perfect for us. The apartment is really big and they provided enough blanket and bedroom items, everything is clean and tidy.

Really good location! 40 minute walk to oxford street and right on Hyde park!
If you want to do some shopping, but want to avoid the crowds, you should stay away from Oxford Street and Portobelle Road on Saturdays. Take a trip to some of the boroughs outside the city's centre and discover the local atmosphere. Ask someone in a shop or the staff at your hotel, if you need a few suggestions for a good day out away from the crowds. I usually ask them where they go for a day out.
you have all kinds if shopping from all the big chain stores found on oxford street to the markets and vintage stalls in camden town, also carnaby street for a something a little bit different
Plan your trip and staying in details. Do a little research what are the busiest times/days. Skip using tube/buses unless you really have to. Avoid the busiest shopping/tourist areas (there is much more to London than Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square).
Close to major shopping areas like Covent Garden,Regent Street and Oxford Street
Shop anywhere except Oxford Street as there is a heaving mass of humanity.
You can find a lot of various useful things for every taste and purse all-over London and especially at the Oxford street of course
