Amazing teaming with life it is at the other end of Shaftesbury Avenue, where most of the theatres are. A beautiful leisurely stroll to get to Piccadilly Circus where there even more theatres around there and again places to eat, with beautiful heritage buildings.
Crazy, overrated and overcrowded place. Nothing to do with the authentic English history any longer as all you do is bumping into mass loads of disrespectful tourist looking down on their phones thinking they own the place.

I had expected to see Circus Acrobats, Tigers, Elephants, and Trapeze Artists like in a real Circus. I had no idea it was a place of freaks. After my initial shock, I found out President Ronald Reagan had the same reaction to this place as I did.
Brilliant street entertainers , the whole place was like a party , could do with better signage to ' China Town this way ' as it is tucked behind Shaftsbury Avenue and not well signed , Great food though
Busy!! (hence the saying...) Its the starting point for all those other places nearby you want to visit but might not realise are close by...Fornums and Masons,Liecester Square,Regent St,Carnaby St....
Everything was 5-star excellence! Breakfast, room service, concierge, reception staff were fantastic. Style & room decor was modern & up to date. Family room was large & comfortable. Location was perfect. On a less busy corner, but still in the middle of everything. Short walk through the park to Buckingham Palace & 2 minutes walk to Piccadilly Circus.
I stayed here because I had to wake up early to catch a train to Gatwick for a flight in the morning. Steps away from Victoria station, this was the perfect place location wise. Close to Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus; I had a lovely walk around the area before heading to bed. The room had everything I needed for a night.
The apartment is in SOHO. We enjoyed the convenience of being near major shopping areas, theaters, museums, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester and Trafalgar Square. There were many restaurants, pubs and eateries to choose from as well. The hosts worked with us and I appreciated all their hospitality to get us into the apartment.
Location is excellent. 2nd building from Piccadilly Circus. We had two rooms for our family. Only first night was not good rooms but from 2nd night they changed us to renovated rooms were very good. Good size and quality beds and rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Snacks and fruits are always there in front.
