Excellent location right beside the the Salisbury Cathedral excellent views of the cathedral and the sunset through the windows and large room with historical fittings and furniture. The principal of the college spoke with us and made the experience more memorable. Breakfast was good and parking right outside the door which we hadn’t realized was helpful. We enjoyed the Evensong just next door at the cathedral and could wander to the high street in Salisbury for dinner easily then walk through the historic gates. Excellent value and wonderful experience.

Great location great old place and the courtyard was beautiful. Rooms are very big with a nice big comfortable bed.

House reception had first class customer service skills any issues or problems they sorted it out straight away recommend this hotel any day.

Warm welcome. Excellent food. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I have stayed in that same hotel several times over the years because I found it had so much character. Since the refurbishment last year, it has not lost its charm. Quite the opposite in fact. The decor is in keeping with this old building and really tastefully done.

The restaurant was kind enough to grab coffee and other small bits before the opening time. This allowed be to catch an early flight without rushing. Cheers and thanks

Everything. The property has undergone lots of renovation, it’s a fantastic place to stay if you are travelling to Salisbury business or pleasure.

It’s beautifully designed and decorated, very bespoke, gorgeous relaxing setting and extremely clean.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Fighting Cocks this year and it again lived up to our expectations. A great New Forest location for walking the dog (be aware of the donkeys/horses and livestock that roam around the Inn). Good Food from the varied menu is served in the Restaurant/Bar Area and the outside terrace. Lovely Room and all the staff we met were friendly,helpful and welcoming particularly the manageress. Exceptional Breakfast.

Had breakfast only one time as it was not included. It was very good.

Simple and wonderful place in a good location close to Stonehenge. Easy to find,excellent parking. Great breakfast. Dogs are staying for free. I would absolutely recommend this place to any traveler..

The pub was excellent! The food was so good (we had the Sunday roast dinner), a good wine list, and the atmosphere was excellent!
