How clean and lovely the rooms are

The facilities were absolutely incredible The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even bumped us up to a double room because they had one available. The price of the rooms include breakfast! I had a full English and my partner had mushrooms on toast both were incredible. The food here is outstanding the baked Brie and the ribs from the tapas menu were insanely delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The bar is clearly the social hub of Bolsolver with a large selection of drinks and a very welcoming atmosphere. I was initially a little concerned that I would be able to hear the sbr as you stay above it. BUT I can honestly say you can NOT hear anything and it was the best nights sleep I have had in a hotel. It's in a very quaint setting and the town of Bolsolver is very beautiful.. I recommend Bolsolver castle as a place to visit that and Hardwicke Hall. Finally the servers and all the staff are absolutely incredible so attentive and polite and very knowledgeable about the area. If I could rate them higher I would they were so amazing. Genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed

Exceptionally well appointed. Immaculate decor like it had recently been decorated. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Brilliant room at a fantastic rate. Great breakfast. Decorated tastefully for Christmas.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel after spending a string of nights in places less comfortable. My room faced the street, not the canal, but it was surprisingly quiet so do not let the fact it is next to a busy road put you off; the hotel is well insulated from sound. My bed was very comfortable and the whole room has the simplicity, comfort, and cleanliness of a well managed hotel. I have slept at Marriotts and Hiltons less comfortable. The staff was also very friendly. I really appreciated the much needed rest here. Also to note, there is a bus stop near by (not sure why my phone kept telling me to walk to the train station).

Very helpful staff,I need to borrow an iron and board, Room was clean and tidy bathroom was very warm after a shower. Meal in pub was great breakfast the next morning set us up for the day.

The helpfulness of the staff nothing was to much trouble which was very refreshing. The whole property was delightful. There is one thing that could be improved upon and that the front parking lot. The shifting of the stones onto the areas that are tarmac looks scruffy and difficult to navigate and especially when you have luggage in tow.

Lovely cosy stay , clean and welcoming

Everything was a1 . Slept like a log,not a sound from anywhere in the hotel, silence is golden. Breakfast was great, just the right size with plenty of choice.

Room was easy to get to. Most things weren't issues.

We loved how charming the location was. The breakfast was so lovely and it was a perfect traditional English breakfast. The people were extremely kind, respectful, and so helpful. The gentleman that met us at the front desk was kind enough to carry our heaviest bags to our rooms like they weighed nothing.

Ease of access. Good location relative to Norwood park for wedding.

The location was excellent since we have friends living nearby The pub food was good and the trivia night was fun

I booked 3 rooms for family who were staying for a wedding. The stay exceeded my expectations. The Hotel was spacious, set in beautiful grounds and the rooms were all large and clean. The staff were exceptional from the staff serving canapes and food at the wedding to the reception and breakfast staff and even the cleaner we had friendly efficient and flexible service and they couldnt have been more helpful. Great breakfast and lovely spacious breakfast room. I was in the Nell Gwyn room which had a spacious modern bathroom. The other two rooms had more dated bathrooms

The nextdoor roadservice was very good. We got a voucher, that was enough for a warm breakfast. Rooms ok. Staff very much ok. Enough parking place. We would come again and recommend. Not as a romantic place because you have to dress to walk outside to get a breakfast.

Absolutely love this place, the peace of the internal surroundings & tastefully decorated, nice music & ambiance. Food amazing. Staff so helpful & friendly

it's a lovely place to stay iv stopped atleast 5 times now usually atleast 3+ days at a time friendly staff also
