Bit overcrowded. Nice exhibition, wish admission was available without the SS Nomadic visit. £18 is a bit steep if you don't have the time to do both. Overall pacing of exhibition was mediocre, audio guide should be included to maybe better direct crowds. Also small amusement ride was cool amusement tech, but added little to the exhibition as a whole.
I liked the part on Belfast and shipbuilding, especially for the ride that took you through shipbuilding activities. Its not really for small kids as there wasn't enough in the way of interactive activities and there was a lot of reading/looking which they may find boring. Also, there were not many artefacts.
Book your tickets online. There's big crowds. Also get an audioguide, the tour wouldn't be half as interesting without it. Transport to the place is quite fast and easy from the city centre, just take a bus ( buy a dailysaver ticket - three pound for a full day of unlimited travel on the buses). Be prepared for the crowds, sometimes you might get stuck in human traffic. The place is perfectly organised, well done.
This is a museum that celebrates the history of Belfast and shipbuilding in general. And also linen production.Harland and Woolf built hundreds of ships not just the one that is infamous for. This museum shows you how the ships were built and launched. If you do the museum I recommend for the extra £3 visiting the Thompson graving dock a half mile up the road. This is a truly awesome big hole in th e ground that was built to service the titanic sisters before they could be built .The drydock is 850 by 100 feet wide by 40 foot deep. It always fills me with awe when I walk round the bottom of this huge dock.Gives you a very good idea of the immense size of the vessels !!! I do recommend the café in the pumphouse for a well earnt dinner.Amazingly good value. I also recommend visiting the nomadic on a cold day as that is heated too .

Location is great, literally across the street from Titanic Belfast and the hop on hop off bus tour stops around the corner. Underground parking at Titanic Belfast, if you bring the ticket the hotel discounts so max per night is 15 pounds. It's walkable to the city center but maybe 20 minutes or more. Breakfast buffet style with many different warm options. We were new to driving and appreciated having less exposure to city traffic.

Very close to PRONI. Apartment is within walking distance of Titanic Belfast and the city center. Spar grocery and some small restaurants within walking distance. Hop on and off bus stop is close by. Didn't need a car to enjoy the sites here. Nice to be close to the city but far enough away to be peaceful. Good value for the location. Would definitely stay here again.
