Very good for a small museum. I felt I could do it justice in 1.5 hours. Exhibit information in Greek and English, so a challenge if visitors are not fluent in one of these languages. Highlight: the wall paintings from prehistoric Akrotiri. Several of these are jaw-dropping amazing and beautiful.
I loved it. Although it's a pretty small museum, it gives you a pretty good idea of the minoan culture. This Museum together with the archaeological site Akrotiri are totally worthy. Frescoes and vases are incredibly beautiful and full of details. There were also some tablets with some lineal writing.
It was a big disappointment and a entry ticket of 15 Euro is just too much. It has limited collection and none of that sort or exciting. I was totally disappointed there. I would not suggest going there to any one. Though nearby Red and white beach are must.
