Check weather before you visit Victoria peak. I visited on rainy day. It's cold and foggy. I cannot see even the nearby building is just 1 min walk far. We enjoy fog and wind there. I will come back again onsunny day :)
Terrible changes. Difficult to get around with all the traffic. The Peak is so crowded and commercial it was hardly worth the view from the top. I visited Hong Kong many times between 1989 and 1999, and I loved it. It is ruined! Prices are high and the trip to the Peak, with all the stores while going up the escalators was awful. Hotel was convenient, but the rooms were a BIG disappointment.
I took the peak tram funicular round trip (40 HKD) which was not that expensive but Is not as special as I was told. You can find another ways to get to the peak. Once you get to the peak you have great views and can also walk different roads and get even better views, ask the information center there.

I was pleased with the location so close to the MTR. The staff assisted us as we traveled to various locations such as the Big Buddha, Victoria Peak and shopping districts. They were very detailed and we were able to travel with ease. Victoria Park is an easy walk and was enjoyable way to spend the morning. The rooftop pool was amazing with outstanding views. This was our first trip to Hong Kong and the airport bus location was easy to find and the staff at that location was equally helpful. I would stay at this location again.

Foodie destinations within different parts of Hong Kong, eye shopping at myriads of shopping centers, having an afternoon tea at the Peninsula, Star Ferry ride, Victoria peak tram ride and views from the top, tasting Michelin recognized eateries throughout Hong Kong. And going into China for more sightseeing tours.
8.6 Excellent 1,774 reviews
Splendid view of Hong Kong harbor, although not of the busier side (more Causeway Bay and Wan Chai rather than Central, Sheung Wan, and Victoria Peak). Great shuttle service to Kowloon Station for easy access to the airport express train.

Provided with all the facilities. Excellent services. Close to Sai YIng Pun MRT station. Awesome mountain view of victoria peak.
KowLoon and the Avenue of stars is great night or day, Victoria peak is a zoo to line up for but the reward of the view is worth it, pay the extra to get on top of the mall up there and there are tons of restaurants up there too but mostly western.
The Peak was fantastic - a fun trip up on the Peak Tram and lots to look at once you get there. The Sky100 gives a good perspective of the city as well with a 365 view. But to qualify - the quality of the view is very dependent on the smog level.
Go during the mid afternoon before the peak evening crowd comes in!
Had an amazing view from my hotel room but for even more jaw dropping scenery visit the peak or travel to kowloon bay to watch the city light up
Hiking from Pok Fu Lam to the Victoria Peak is very wonderful and extremely easy for a first-time hiker. Hong Kong has very good facilities in those country parks, such as toilets, well explained routine maps and signboards.
Just go! Choose what you want to see and go) Ride a ferry! It's cheaper that metro and fascinating. Take a ride on double-decker bus, use the 2nd floor! Go to The Peak and take a look on daytime and nighttime view, it's worth it!!
