Located just a short walk from Dubrovnik Old Town, Villa Glavić offers free use of spa facilities and swimming pools at Grand Villa Argentina located just 10 meters away. Our stay was a dream come true! Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a room in the main building.
Only a 15-minute walk away from Dubrovnik’s Old Town, this luxurious 5-star hotel offers a beach, 2 restaurants and a classy spa center. We loved everything about this place!
Fully renovated in the summer of 2013, Stari Grad is one of only 2 hotels within the Old Town walls of Dubrovnik. This historic residence offers 8 spacious guest bedrooms and free Wi-Fi in all areas. There's a great kiddie play area to the left of the Banje beach bay with trampolines and a jumping castle etc. IT's loads of fun for a 5yr old! And you can still sip a coffee or jump into the cool sea water while your kiddie is safely playing ;-)
Remember to have water shoes if you are not used to pebbles and rocky beaches. Its easy to get to from the Ploce Gate/OLD TOWN area. Bring food and drinks from nearby bakery and convenient store since the beach bar is expensive.
The clear water was a big surprise, and also the pebbles. Lovely setting, with the town of Dubrovnik rising behind you in the hills, sea in front and the Old town walls on the right.....just amazing. If you have water shoes, take them...the feet hurt after walking on the pebbles. But plan to spend at least half the day, at least the first half one day before you leave...very relaxing.
Go in the forenoon to get good pics...afternoon, the sun will be on your back...good for random relaxation. Not worth paying money to visit the beach. Go if free. There is good enough walk way from top down to take pics and get good views... you will have enough nice locations and time to enjoy it fully.
One of the best locations you can find in Dubrovnik. Just minutes from Banje Beach a public beach just outside the old city. The apartment is very clean and large. It had a beautiful view of the waterfront and the Walls of Dubrovnik. The host was very friendly and helpful in recommending a local grocery market. Washing machine, A/C and full kitchen fully functional. 10 minute walk to the old town. Everything very close and convenient.
Second time staying at this apartment. The apartment is very well situated, in just a few steps down to the Banje Beach and a few more to the Old Town. We where in love with the antique decoration and the stunning view from the windows. There is everything you need for a stay with a family; no washing machine, though, but there is a convenient laundry next to the Old Town Gates.
The place was good in a very good location around 5 min to Banje beach and around 10 min to Old town. And around the corner outside you have Biker's caffe and a Pemo Market. The host was very welcoming and nice, she even recommended us a couple of places that we visited. The room we rented got a great view and you could se old port. Highly recommended.
This is a luxury apartment with breathtaking sea views. Decor and furniture are great. Its location is very good, within a short walking distance to the old city (800 meters), Banje beach (600 meters) and St. Jacobs beach (1000 meters). The beds are very comfortable. The host is friendly and gave us a warm welcome.
Location was perfect: one side’s the Banje Beach, the other side - Old town. 5-7 min to go there. Apartment was very nice and cozy, clean; with the terrace with a great view, where we could relax, eat (had our own table). There’s everything for cooking. There’s a pool. The territory of villa is very beautiful!
We had ample space to make breakfast and simple meals. There were markets, restaurants and places to swim very near by. Banje Beach and the island of Lokrum were highlights. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The terrace courtyard is charming. Our hosts were very friendly.
Amazing balcony view, also it has enough commodity to enjoy it. Perfect location, very close to Banje Beach and Dubrovnik Old Side. It has more that expected facilities. New furniture, lovely modern interior.
The apartment was very nice and we loved having 2 balconies. It was only a 15 min walk to both Banje Beach and Sveti Jakov Beach. Old Town was 20 min walk. Small grocery store near old town.
