Place is well maintained. Check in was fast. Food was great. Parking is available for a small fee. Close to the bus station. It will take you 20 minutes walk going to the old town (uphill and downhill walk).

I had an amazing time staying at the Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik. After a stressful car issue in Bosnia forced me to change my plans abruptly and head to Dubrovnik instead of Kotor, the hotel welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism. From the moment I stepped in until the moment I checked out, the service was flawless. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and stocked with all the amenities you’d ever need plus thoughtful extras. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt clean, premium, and well-maintained. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the Dubrovnik coastline, and it was absolutely worth it. Sitting outside with a view of the Old Town and the endless horizon was truly special. The bathroom was also generous in size, with a large bathtub perfect for soaking after a long day of exploring. Morning breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that tasted just as good as they looked. The location couldn’t be more perfect. It’s an easy and pleasant walk to and from Old Town, making it convenient yet still peaceful. I highly recommend Hotel Excelsior to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. I will definitely return every time I come back.

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, windows that open, best shower! The stairs not a problem. Excellent hosts who drove me to the airport. Banje beach is a five minute walk and I swam in the Adriatic in November. Sweet home base. From the bus depot take bus 1A or 1B to PILE gate and very short walk to the apartment.

The location was terrific - a 10 min walk from Old Town; Banje beach only 5 min away and small Studenac market 2 min away. Matea, the host, was also terrific - very helpful and accommodating. She offered great recommendations for restaurants and day trips and would have made reservations for us (we didn't take her up on that). The apartment was clean and well equipped. Garage parking was an extra $20/day but well worth it.

This is a clean spacious apartment in a quiet location which includes a comfortable bed, washing machine and air con. The balcony has a lovely view of the harbour and old town with a supermarket 100 steps away. Banje Beach is 3 mins walk away while the cable car and old town are a gentle stroll away.

The location was great - close to Old Town and Banje Beach (a busy beach), however, the steps were pretty steep. Dubrovnik is made of stairs so this is expected anyway and not complaining! The host Joseph was lovely and accommodating, the apartment itself has thoughtful amenities with tourist manuals which we thought was nice! We got a nice room with a little sea view from the balcony.

Location, Location, Location!!! Just steps above Banje beach. This newly renovated apartment was perfect for my family. Very spacious, very comfortable, very clean. Bathroom is a good size. Plumbing is excellent. Bonus washing machine. Staff was helpful. Roland was there to greet us and helped us with every need. Thank you Roland. PS loved all the cats and tortoises roaming the property.

1: The location is amazing, just take 150 steps down and you reach Banje beach, we always walk from there to old town. Just some steps up you reach another street from which you can take uber. 2: The apartment was super complete, exactly what you want/expect from an apartment. Like someone is actually living in there. Kitchen complete with oil, salt. Bathroom with shampoos. You get welcome candies and croissants :)

The views from the balcony were spectacular. The apartment was warm and inviting, very clean and well-maintained. Lovely art from around the world on the walls. Location was convenient - walk down stairs (though many to get back up) to Banje Beach and Old Town. Great communication from the host. She sent specific instructions with video for how to find the apartment and where to have taxi drop off/ pick up (which were needed). Would definitely stay here again.
