I really don’t want to admit how great this place is because I will probably never be able to get a booking there again if it gets any more popular. Villa Diana is a wonderfully modernized property housed in a historic building. We loved the beautiful and gracious room with top quality furnishings in impeccable shape and cleanliness. The staff Marcos was so helpful and it was so clean (I hope you guys tip housekeeping because it is that good!) and quiet and the location was excellent for traveling in and out of Split via bus and boat services. Also nearby are tour services and everything Split has to offer. Top quality breakfast with many options and cooked to order eggs. Also gluten-free for us.
Unfortunately, for Split in 2024 expenses are increasing, but at least you get your money’s worth when you pay more here. We did local market shopping, tours in the city, day tours that left the city, and took the bus to Togir so easily from this excellent site. The thick walls and windows on this building insulate you and it is very quiet. This neighborhood also goes to sleep at night. But you only have to go a couple of blocks to party hearty all night.
