My stay at Sheraton was amazing. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is a great catch. After booking, the hotel reservation team sent me a link to its website, which has fabulous ideas of activities you can explore while in Athlone. There was constant communication from the team ahead of my arrival. It was my birthday and they made it so special, the personnel at the reception wished me a Happy Birthday as I walked in, and on walking to into my room I was welcomed with a plate of cake, chocolate and a birthday card from the hotel management. Everything about my stay was perfect. The pool, spa, breakfast, and dinner were indeed amazing. The staff are so courteous, they were always ready to help and were beaming with smiles always. I highly recommend and would definitely return when next I visit Athlone. The oldest pub in Ireland, "Sean's bar," is a 10 mins walk away, too 😊

We loved everything about unfortunately we could only stay one night as we were travelling to another destination. Would definitely return again.

the breakfast was excellent, a great value to be included with the cost of the room. service was quick and friendly. the room was a comfortable size, with a view of the marina and a door out to the patio. bed was very comfy. shower had plenty of hot water. absolutely no complaints at all.

We stayed in the adults only area and it was wonderful also very easy to get around. The children also have plenty to do, they cater for all! It’s a very special place
