From the moment you arrive, they treat you like you’re royally :) Cristian greeted us outside and was so very pleasant. Check in was easy and the lady’s were so lovely. Initially I booked them into the Lodges but I contacted Kilkea Castle direct the morning of their check-in and enquired if there were any cancellations for the Castle. Thankfully there was a cancellation for the Castle - I was delighted. I paid the extra money. My parents loved their stay and the dinner on 1180 was exceptional. Breakfast the next morning also. When we made bookings in Ireland for our trip, we had limited availability in this property, else we would have stayed the entire week in Kilkea Castle. The place is magical & very well kept. The staff were very friendly &, helpful. The rooms were really big & our 2yr old thoroughly enjoyed the garden access from our room !
