If you want to see Deer the best chance is to follow the road around to the US embassy and then park where the road forks and ends to your left (the road to the left has been blocked off to enable a walking only trail) head down that trail and they are usually there.
Great place to get out and stretch your legs in a beautiful, green and gorgeous park. Lots of interesting parts and a touch of the countryside in the city. The zoo's a good place to take the kids for a couple of hours.
Dublin zoo is located here. And the Park is a huge open grassy area with plenty of paths both asphalt and off road. Wild derr roam here. And you will find the President's residence within the park too.
Largest city park in Europe, with a much improved zoo. Also presidental residence at Árus an Uachtáin ( President's House ) of theRepublic'of ireland's President ' par excellence ', the great Michael D. Higgins, for almost 7 more years. Go neirí an bóthar leat, a Mhicíl = May the road rise with you, Michael. ( old Irish saying, as in good luck. )
The largest park in Europe with rolling acres of lush green grass It houses a zoo, the papal Cross, Wellington Monument and the presidential home, Aras an Uachtaráin. A beautiful space in a big city.
Beautiful park with a zoo and a tea room, you can hire a bike at the entrance but for some reason they only have mountain bikes with rock hard saddles even though the park is not a mountain, it's really flat.
It felt very comfortable for my convenience and all the stores that I needed was so close, the Phoenix park is one of the most beautiful park in Dublin so I usually grabbed my bike and went for a fresh air every morning and getting there from Altido is about 3 minutes. Perfect place to come back and stay at again.
Located right beside Phoenix Park was wonderful! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean and well equipped. And the price was one of the cheapest I could find in Dublin!
