Host was quick to respond to messages and helpful with questions. There were also some breakfast items and snacks left for us. Property was clean and comfortable. We attended a concert at Slane Castle which was a short walk which was invaluable at the end of the night. Had a great time visiting in and around Slane. We would stay again if in the area.

New Grange neolithic site is a few kilometers away. Nice pub a few doors down to catch futbol and a pint. The hotel restaurant dinner was very good. Breakfast as well. Really enjoyed my stay. It is an older hotel property, but very well maintained and clean. Staff were very cordial and very helpful.

The cottage we rented was nicely large with full use of a kitchen, very comfy bed and a large clean shower. Its situated very close to Slane Castle, only a short walk away. The breakfast was freshly cooked and hot, we ate dinner on two nights and both meals were exceptional. The couple who own the house are wonderful and so helpful. Great location near to points of interests like Slane Castle, Hill of Slane, Newgrange etc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Fresh, organic everything. The only downfall was lack of hot water in shower and no wifi but minor details considering the rest.
