This is a great, recently refurbished hotel with an excellent location near the Spanish Arch in Galway, located on a quiet street but only a few blocks from all the action in central Galway. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nicely appointed. The breakfast was simply great - enough to last all day - and the newly open restaurant also serves excellent food in a very pleasant atmosphere, in contrast to the activity of most of central Galway. This was a great place to spend a long weekend in Galway!

The location was wonderful. We were able to explore Galway without using our car and it turned out to be one of our best visits in Ireland. There is a parking garage next door called, "Spanish Arch" parking lot, but we didn't know about it so we parked at another one real close and Jury's Inn helped out with the final cost of parking for the night.

Warm and elegant. Alternative to larger and more expensive ”luxury” franchise hotels. Quiet, safe location within blocks of nightlife and attractions. Near Spanish Arch and walk along Galway Bay. Convent to the great Irish bus system. Aran Island ferrie shuttle pickup in front was unexpected bonus. Good restaurant and bar with attentive staff.

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel is in a good location and you can walk to Eyre Square, Spanish Arch and most other places of attraction. Many restaurants and pubs close by as well. The train station is just across the road. The room was good, clean, basic. Breakfast was good.
