The hotel is beautifully designed and very clean! What truly made our experience awesome was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and it was amazing how many languages they could speak. Nicola at the front desk was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable (he recommended us some great restaurants to try and places to visit). He really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We also had the pleasure of meeting Alex, who is Romanian (which was such a pleasant surprise!). Sarah was also wonderful and very helpful! Even the housekeeping staff made an effort to communicate in English, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel with genuine hospitality and staff who truly care about their guests. We'll certainly be back!

The design of this boutique hotel is superb. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Recommend having breakfast at the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful for every request, Atousa, Luis, Rosa, Julia and everyone else were great. Great location in the Brera area that was very good with great restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is lovely and the workers there are very accessible and helpful. Many of the sights are easily walkable. and are also quite popular so reservations for tours should be planned for, and I didn’t get to see THE LAST SUPPER for lack of a reservation. The breakfast spread is excellent and the free drink each night is also a nice feature. I chose the Grand Duca diYork to pamper myself during my final 3 nights in Italy and i wasn’t disappointed!

I will not come to Milan again.

I will not come to Milan again. I had my phone wallet stolen on a packed Metro on my way from the centrale station to the Duomo. No security people to talk to at the Metro stations so reported to the police in the main station. I was told to go away and find a phone(mine had just been stolen) to cancel my cards and come back when I had done this. Luckily the B&B owner lent me his phone several hours later when I got back . It would have been useful in the police station if they showed understanding. My friend witnessed a man being knocked to the ground outside the central station as someone tried to steal his phone. THIS IS NOT GOOD . My tip would be to hide your phone beneath clothing, though unsure how you use it!!!
