Absolutely beautiful hotel, views over Tuscany incredible and the staff were so friendly. Lovely pool & pool bar and the hotel was so clean. They let us check in early and nothing was a problem. Breakfast was perfect lots of options of Pancakes, Meat, Breads and Pastries

A beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place to stay in the middle of a historic village. The breakfast and dinner were very good. They even accommodated and made us a four course vegan meal which was spectacular. The hosts are very nice. We enjoyed visiting with them. The Hot Springs are just a short drive away. Would love to return one day.

This is an exceptionally special place both the hotel, owner, staff and breakfast not to mention the garden and duomo at its footstep…Sovana is very special unlike anywhere I’ve been.

The room is a very big very nice size it had a full kitchenette in it or you could actually cook if you wanted to it had a refrigerator the bathroom was nice and spacious The air conditioner was great once you turned it on p

Very friendly staff, he recommended us many good tips regarding the saturnia/coastal area. Quiet farm, beautiful nature, we spent a very peaceful time there with my baby.

Beautiful layout in country side

Maurino is awesome, he prepared breakfast for us, recommended some towns for our trips. Wonderful service. New remodeling property, new bedding. 10 minutes drive to hot springs.

We unfortunately only stayed for one day, but we truly wished we could have stayed much longer. The place is absolutely stunning—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly romantic! From the very first moment we walked in, Marco and the family who own the place made us feel like we were part of their own family. They are so incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with everything. The beauty of this place lies in its simplicity. It’s wildly romantic and calm. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and I can honestly say the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy! It’s a family-run business, and the way they treat you makes you want to come back as soon as you leave. Even though it gets a bit chilly at night, the room itself was warm and cozy, and the bed was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. To Marco and the family: if you’re reading this, thank you for everything! We will definitely be seeing you again next year!

The room was large, even by European standards. We had room to move and not bump into walls and furniture. There is a restaurant next door that has a truly traditional Italian dinner which was delicious and fascinating to see and eat. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. We do not speak Italian but we did not feel remotely misunderstood or unable to communicate; they were charming and very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I wish that we had been able to try the omelette that was offered but we filled up on the pastry, fruit, salami, cheese, and yogurt so were too stuffed for more. And as a person with food allergies I loved being able to eat all that was offered. A truly exceptional stay and would choose again in a heartbeat.

The evening dips in the thermal pool were so special! The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast cappuccino’s were a nice bonus!

We stayed here before, 18 years ago, and were pleased to return. The village is small and special, not much changed, though spruced-up, and a bit less car-accessible. Perhaps the smallest town to have a cathedral in Italy! A great headquarters for visits to the larger near-by tufa towns of Sorano, Pitigliano, and Saturnia. It also has its own set of Etruscan remains -- temples, vie cave, and tombs, lovely to visit in the spring -- with meadows of wildflowers and birdsong. The hotel is still looking freshly-made in its antique building. The room was light and comfortable, with traditional furnishings and modern bathroom.

The location was great. The room was very clean. It met our needs.

Helpful and kind staff, gorgeous location

Very historical outlook but comfy inside, clean and tidy, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived late on the first day, the staff called us several times to make sure we received the check in information. They are very responsible. The breakfast was very good with good selection of local sourced food.

We loved the atmosphere, the sunset view is breathtaking, the attention to detail, both dinner and breakfast were extraordinary. But what made us feel very special was the absolutely extraordinary service of the staff, one full of elegance and warmth, with an exceptional professionalism, rarely seen, Zenovia, Aby and Alice being simply wonderful.
