We had an amazing stay at the Metropolitan Hotel! The staff were the kindest, most generous and helpful we’ve met in Japan, truly the best hospitality we experienced. They even surprised us with a thoughtful birthday gift, which made our stay extra special. On top of that, the location was perfect and rooms were great. Highly recommended!

Very nice small hotel with a young team. Good night sleep, even is very close to train station, during night was very quiet. Cosy room and good Japanese breakfast. One of the best 3 star hotel we stayed.

I loved how dog friendly they were. They provided large bowls, pee pads and a blanket for my dog. Their menu also has a dog dinner and dog breakfast item for purchase that my dog loved (steamed veggies).

The only negative I could find was the fact that breakfast included either juice or coffee. Choice of both would have been nice. Everything else was fantastic rooms were very nice and modern

Its close to kamakura station, house is easy to reach, located behind fruit store, have two bed room with enough bed for five of us. Facilities are great but need a bit add on, like bed room sleep light, no lock key at bed room, so may be for privacy it still need a lock. What most frustrated was about trash while in japan, no trash bin at all. But kamakura is great, its beautiful, we love it, food are greattt

Cozy place in a quiet area of town with several rooms. Ideal for a couple, family or a larger group if several rooms are booked. Close to the beach and to many restaurants/cafés. Within walking distance of Kamakura station, Enoshima and most local attractions. The room had everything necessary to cook and eat too.

The location is very convenient. Kita-kamakura station has great connections and is very closeby. However, you don't hear the train that much from the house. Also, the host and the workers of the hotel (next door, same owner) were very friendly. It's an old house with lots of character, so prepare to sleep on futons on a tatami floor. I stayed here for 1 month in total.

The hotel was very close to Kamakura station and the staff are very nice and friendly. Very japanese vibe, the public bath is okay where you can relax after a long stroll in Kamakura area as you end your day.

It is a short walk from kamakura station and had many cafes nearby. There is lots to see and do around the hostel! They provide for a daily change of towel but you will have to request at the counter.

Located just next to Kita-Kamakura Station, about 2-3 minutes’ walk. The room is clean and well-organized. One can hardly feel that the it is actually quite small ( another good feature though, easy to fetch anything and all are at hand). Japanese-styled decoration with actual tatami, AC and a great bathroom and everything people can ask for in a hotel. The hosting lady is one with kind heart and hospitality, I had a good time chatting with her in Japanese (it’s ok if you don’t speak Japanese, the translator she used is of great help)

This is a lovely boutique hotel right next to Kamakura Station! Super convenient location, and everything is so well thought out and executed. The private sauna was delightful, the room spotless and comfortable, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the food delicious.
