First time in Tokyo and I was really happy with the hotel! It's super quiet, safe and the neighbourhood is very local. The hotel is not very touristic, I suppose most guests are Japanese. Both the underground and the JR- railway station on the Yamanote line are basically just downstairs, however the hotel is comfortable and quiet. The hotel room was super quiet - thank you for that! I had a great night's sleep! There are both a Lawson and 7/11 store next to the hotel. It was easy to get a snack there. Great Japanese gardens such as Rikugien Gardens and Kyu-Furukawa Gardens are a walking distance from the hotel. For people with jet lag there is a McDonald's :). And many many local restaurants. But it is not a superbusy area, so nice and easy for people who come from less populated countries and cities. You can even sometimes get a seat on the train, because you travel further north (on Yamanote line, not the city limits). You need to travel around in Tokyo, so this hotel is a homelike base. Breakfast was good but you order it from a list. A breakfast buffet would offer more variation. On the other hand, the breakfast is in a local restaurant called Denny's. This is eco-friendly, because the restaurant is used by locals all the time and it just doesn't sit there empty for 20 hours a day. There was always space during the morning, too!

Huoneet olivat kivoja, ja nättejä sekä siistejä.

Lähdimme aamulla liikkeelle aina jo ennen aamiaista joten emme syöneet aamiaista.
