This was the first time we tried a hotel with no staff! Although there is plenty of info and even a YouTube video on how to check-in, we still messed-up both check-in and check-out a little bit. We liked the location because it is close to my family's house, who we are visiting on this trip. Having our own place where we can do our laundry and make our own meals helps a lot so we don't inconvenience the familybwe came to visit. For a tourist, I think they may like being away from the busy part of Asakua but still close enough for Asakusa to be thier home base during thier stay in Tokyo. We enjoyed the walk to and from the station. It is in a district well known for shoemakers and other leather crafts. I don't think most visitors would get a chance to see this part of Tokyo if it weren't for the hotel's location. Great view of Skytree and close to bothe Imado Shrine and Matsuchiyama Shoden Temple. The facilities are excellent. I will likely stay here again on future visits. I hope you have a frequent hotel stay membership program! I plan to take advantage of it if you do!

I found the location to be of incredible value when using the subway + bus combo as there was a stop in front of the hotel. There's a Lawson 2 mins away and a 7-11, 5mins away & both are open 24hrs. Further away (10/15mins walk), you'll find a lot more food options and restaurants. While the hotel room was small, I loved how very comfortable the twin bed was. The staff were very pleasant and kind and all the necessary amenities were provided (slippers, toothbrush, bath sponge etc.). On the 3rd floor, there are 2 coin operated washing machines, a microwave, an ice machine, a water dispenser and a vending machine - very useful appliances. If you stay longer than 2 nights, you get room cleaning service but each room gets fresh towels and other amenities (as required) daily. They do offer a welcome drink in the lobby but I was too tired to join them so can't comment on that.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, but still near to many tourist locations. It was easy to walk around to places and wasnt too far from a subway / train stop too. Overall it was a perfect place to stay with smaller children.

I felt like I found a gem! I want to gatekeep this property so bad!! The location was amazing!!! Everything was within 5-10 min walking distance. As a mom, I felt safe with my kids and when I went out by myself. Everything was just perfect. I stayed in a lot of hotels and properties and this has been my top stay so far. I asked for a crib and was informed they didn’t have any to provide. To my surprise, upon arrival - there was a crib in the room. Major plus!!

We went for the Hello Kitty room and it was well worth it. The room was adorable and they even gave us a special surprise when we checked in. The location was great, right next to the station and a close walk to Senso-Ji.

I booked this for my senior aunt and uncle who were looking for an onsen. They enjoyed the entire Japanese vibes of this hotel + the free onsen and soba included in the booking. They were not allowed to wear shoes/slippers inside the hotel (there is a locker in the lobby to leave these) because of the tatami flooring. They also had nightgowns everyday as their sleepwear. Overall, this is a good hotel if you want to get that traditional Japanese house without renting an apartment/house! Plus points that it's just a block away from Senso-ji temple!

A gem of a hotel! It is in a lovely location - close to Senso-ji temple - and many bars and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable - we had a shared bathroom, but assigned your own shower and there are several toilets so it was never crowded. The breakfast was very yummy as well - 3 options including a traditional Japanese breakfast. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. There are bikes you can use as well which was a great way to explore the area. Luggage drop off is also allowed.

Everything about our stay at Cross Suites was excellent. The hotel had just opened and everything was so well set up. The kitchen facitilities were excellent, everything you could need had been thought of and it was clean and tidy. The staff were all so friendly and super helpful. The room was a great size, having a full size fridge, sink as well as a couple of seating areas within the room made it feel very homely. The location was so great, right next to Senso-ji temple and a short walk to the shops and train stations. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a family.
