AustraliaLocation was excellent. Shared kitchen, microwave, kettle etc so you can self-cater with food from supermarket (next door). Very comfortable rooms with Japanese style bedding - new build so everything clean and modern. Hostess is lovely and communicates through a language translation app.

Excellent location. Less than 10 minutes walk to Shingu Station and Lawson. The place is clean and comfortable. You basically have your own private space as there is only one other guest room. The owner was warm, friendly and welcoming. Language barrier isn't a problem thanks to the translation apps. She also runs a small store on the first floor selling manju, unfortunately I didn't get to try as it only opened at 11am.

Just a short 3-5 min walk from Shingu station and a 10min walk from most nearby attractions and shrines, lots of restaurants nearby (overall this is a very quiet sleepy little town). Sunpatio is a small complex just off one the side streets. It has everything you could need - a washing machine up on the roof with a drying rack, two sitting rooms + shower/toilet + a dining table with a microwave/fridge on the second floor and beds on the ground floor.

Very cosy minshuku, taking in not too many guests, so we were able to use their facilities comfortably. It's in a convenient location, with short walks from Shingu Station, the castle ruins and the 2 main shrines. They were kind enough to allow us to check in in the morning so we could go exploring without having to rush back to check in later. The family room for 4 persons was spacious and the futons/bedding provided were comfortable.

Nice and simple hostel. Easy walking 5 mins distance from Shingu Station. Also near Kumano Hayatama Taisha.
Walking 2 mins to bus station to Kumano Hongu Taisha.
Even not a big city, 3 mins walk can find a super market to buy everything you need like food, even have a daiso inside the supermarket
The hostel only have 1 toilet and 1 bathroom so need t take note. Living room have microwave, fridge and utensils.

The guesthouse was very conventiently located next to Shingu station (about a 3-4 min walk), and the hostess was extremely kind and helpful, even though I spoke no Japanese ! The rooms (with futon bedding) were comfortable and relatively spacious, and the facilities were spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveller in Japan.

The place is quite spacious, we were 3 people in two separate rooms. Good value for money. The owner was very responsive, indications to the place were very clear (although I wish I had check-in information a little sooner rather than right before check-in time). About 15mn walk from Shingu station, there is also a bus stop nearby (practical if you wanna go around Nachi Falls).

Location is nice 15 min walking to Shingu station and supermarket across and restaurants around. Reception service is nice and they have a translate machine which benefits a lot when communicate to better mutual understanding. We can borrow a bike from hotel to visit city without any charge only if you break the bike or lost key.
