The location is excellent, well connected and easy to get around, yet away from the heavy crowds of Myeongdong. Even so, it’s only about a 10-minute walk to both Myeongdong and a bit less to the Gyeongbokgung Palace, so you’re never far from the main sights. The airport bus stop is also very convenient, just a 7-minute walk from the hotel. There’s a water dispenser on the floor, making it easy to refill anytime. The hotel also offers a small gym and a laundry room with an ironing board and microwave, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay.

A great place to stay..very central to everything..The staff were great - even on my last morning a,lovely trainee stood outside with me until a taxi arrived. There is a supermarket next door if you need snacks. I highly recommend this place.

Super valued for money. Room is very clean and it has everything you need, even pajamas. Towels changed and room cleaned every day. Free water in a small fridge. Super convenient location with a really good coffee shop (Alto) at the front of the hotel and CU shop. 5 mins to Jongno 3 ga station and Jongno street food and Ikseon art street. 10 mins to Seosulla Gil with a lot of cafes, etc. If you are into a more local side, lower - rises of Seoul, it's the area. Onsen is definitely the gem. Small and can be crowded but it saved my days. Staff are friendly and speak perfect English and Japanese. Will definitely go back to stay.

It was clean, comfortable, water had good pressure and was hot, breakfast was light but more than enough. Floor was heated which was a nice surprise. Location is great, there are cute alleyways with cafes and restaurants and convenience stores nearby and only a short walk to the metro. Water provided in the rooms every day and towels changed daily.

The hotel is located in a very central location and so many eateries, cafes around the area. There are night markets everyday and always entertaining. We messed up our check in dates and the hotel staff was very helpful in finding us alternative accommodation and they are so friendly and helpful.

We had the best stay at Hotel Jak for the first week of our two week trip in Korea to celebrate our second anniversary. It is in such a convenient spot, very close to the subway line and bus stops. Everything was very clean and comfortable. They provided amenities free of charge, towel replacements and room cleaning. There was also a free ramen, tea and coffee station, which was so good for a midnight snack. The owner in particular is super lovely. She always greeted us warmly, and had great conversations with us. She actually helped me track down my lost passport- we definitely wouldn’t have been able to continue our trip without her help. The staff are nice and I can’t fault our stay. It was a very affordable and worth-it stay. We would definitely come here again on our next trip. They made our stay very special and memorable.

Clean, comfortable and very homely vibe

The location is very convenient. Many interesting places within walking distance, and easy to access metro. Has a convenient store on the ground floor and many restaurants nearby. Staff was very nice and kind.

Very convenient in terms of metro station (5min) and have so much good food and shops just 3min away from hotel! takes not more than 30min to both myeongdong and hongdae! room was spacious too and staff were all very helpful and friendly!

The hotel is very thoughtful and professional. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, and the interior design is elegant and well-organized. I really like the self check-in and check-out system, and the hotel owner is very dedicated and caring. The price and quality of service truly deserve a 10/10 rating.

Cute, modern, young vibe. Clean and comfy room, soft bed and very fluffy blankets. Helpful staff. They have a small dining room where they provide a simple breakfast and where you can prepare your own meals easily, filtered water. Great location, walking distance to all central areas. Cute neighborhood with small narrow streets and lots of art galleries and cafes. Airport lomousine Bus 6011 takes you about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel,, very convenient and only about 10$. Very nice having the floorheating during winter, it was really a cosy room with big Windows and fluffy bed.

After booking this hotel, we were honestly a bit worried because of some of the reviews we had read here, so we weren’t expecting the best experience. However, our stay turned out to be great. The location is fantastic, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was large and spacious, as was the bed. An iron and an ironing board were available in the room. The room temperature was also comfortable, though that might have been helped by visiting at the end of April. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this hotel more. We arrived quite skeptical, but it completely exceeded our expectations.

The property was very accessible and neat

It was a great spot. It is a great area which people travel from all around to visit and also local to plenty of train stops. It was as advertised - small but had everything we needed. The free washing facilities downstairs were a great bonus, and the umbrellas for rainy days !
