It is a really nice resort, built in 2017 with great location, close to Pidurangala rock and the Lion rock. The staff is super nice. We were there in mid September (low season), so we had the whole resort to ourselves. Staff really took care of us and fulfilled every wish we had (from driving to safari, to taking us out for ice cream). Rooms/apartments are clean and spacious. Plus it looks better than in the pictures.
Good personnel, always ready to help. Tasty breakfast! Сlean and comfy rooms. Beautiful and comfortable location (right near the hotel there is a bus stop, and the hotel is not far from the Lion and Pidurangala rocks) . In general there is an unofficial friendly atmosphere and you can always count on a small friendly talk). Also, the owner organised for us a jeep safari to Kaudulla National Park. That was great!
Extraordinary service level - we have NEVER experienced similar service! The two rooms are both brand new (completed 2018) and it has a STUNNING view to Sigiriya Rock. The food they serve is nothing but 5-STAR - wow! They have a tuktuk so they took us to Sigiriya Rock as well as the Pidurangala Rock. We extended our stay as the place, people and service was unbelievably good. Highly recommendable!!!
We only stayed one night at Lathika Homes to climb the Pidurangala rock. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are big and comfortable and the bathrooms are brand new. The family is really friendly and helpful and cooked us great food! We had a really good chicken curry for dinner and a sri lankan breakfast. We definitely recommend staying at Lathika while you're in Sigiriya!
Perfect for staying multiple days to visit Sigiriya & Pidurangala rock, Dambulla, Elephants in the national parks and Polonnaruwa. Nayana and Sunil are very nice. The two modern and very comfortable bungalows are detached so no noise from the other guests.
Great location, close to Pidurangala Rock and Sigiriya. The host is so kind, he took me to the Pidurangala rock early in the morning and took me to the bus stand on my departure day. Good breakfast included in the price and dinner also nice and cheap.
The tree house was simple but really nice. We had an amazing breakfast with Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock in sight. Nandana, the care taker was really nice and even came to pick us up from Pidurangala rock when it was too dark.
Jaana & his wife, Sudu were so helpful in many ways during our 3 days/2 nights there. Highly recommended if you're in Sigiriya as the guest house is only a walking distance to Lion Rock & Pidurangala Rock too.
